    I have not had to use the geek squad service this year but my experience in the past has been excellent. I would recommend for peace of mind on all electronic and appliance purchases!

    I always get Geek Squad protection on all my appliances. I've had to have computers fixed and eventually replaced. They provided great service and ensuring I don't loose my money on a purchase even if it breaks.

    I suppose I won't know until I need to use it, but hopefully that day doesn't come. It's nice to know I don't have to worry for a while if something goes wrong with my screen.

    Geek Squad quickly re-formatted my iPhone XR after I accidentally locked myself out of my phone. It was nice of them to take the time to do this for me, especially without an appointment. Allen Park, MI.

    For me, it was a logical move because, as a college student, we either take our stuff everywhere to work or have to move out every semester/year. And accidents happen, so protect your investments

    Always get GSP on smaller items

    Unless you are just lucky, the quality of many of today's devices just isn't the same so if you can afford the extra cost upfront- get the GSP to save on a big loss later.

    I highly recommend getting protection on items, even after the return date they give you store credit for the item or you can possibly exchange it for another item. It’s always helped me out

    I have had to use a few time in the past and Best Buy has taking care of me every time with no problems. They even let me upgrade to a new product. It's the best money that I have spent. Thank you Best Buy for have a replacement plan.

    Worst "Replacement" Plan in the planet.

    There was a time when I never hesitated to go to Best Buy for anything, and I would get the "Service Replacement Program" to cover my bases. However lately Best Buy Geek squad representative get all defensive and accusatory when you bring a product for "replacement". I had a 43" monitor that I somehow the screen was damage. I brought it to Best Buy the same place where I went at least 4 times to get information about and where I was urged by the sales representative to get the "Replacement" plan, because it is a peace of mind. He said it not once, but multiple times, YES SIR it will cover accidental damages, you dont want to buy something this expensive and then accidentally break it and lose all your money. I did go home and ordered the monitor online and got the "replacement" plan. Well, not only the plan does not cover accidental damages, but today the Geek Squad Agent carelessly said, maybe you did not understand what the sales person said (like having an accent immediately is a reason to not clearly understand), and then said, well it is what it is. It wont be covered by our insurance. A left angry because I felt lied to. I lost $1,000 on this transaction. But in the long run Best Buy lost a loyal customer who has bought, computers, tv, appliances, video games, watches and so many other things over the years. Very disappointing
