the best thing about best buys product replacement warranty is the instant in-store replacement. I have used this many times over the years and it never fails - a new replacement item same day. Amazon may have cheaper and longer warranties, but they always require mailing in the defective device, which means you have to wait.

Ordered the 4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement just in case. I'm not a just in case kind of person, but I had my printer, laptop, cell phone and kindle all go crazy within 3 weeks of each other. When I purchased my new laptop, the 4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement was a no-brainer.

Your agent came and helped with our sound on the TV, installed the new printer and made sure all was working properly. He was very nice and friendly and answered all of our questions.

I got the geek squad service as assurance for my 14 yr old. He can be rought sometimes and I feel this service will give us a piece of mind in case something goes wrong. Get it!

If you ever have that "I'm not 100% sure" feeling when buying a product, don't hesitate to front the extra few bucks to purchase the 2-year protection service. The service is phenomenal and has saved me in the past when certain electronics started malfunctioning after an extended period of time.

Total tech service has been really great, easy to get in for an appointment. Very friendly and informative. In person they are great but over the phone is not helpful for me, I feel like they pretty much just tell me to make an appointment and go in person

when I bought the new Canon printer, it was recommended to get the 4-year Geek Squad coverage that covers repairs. If it can't be repaired another printer of the same quality and value would be given as replacement. This coverage is al.ist $10/year and made perfect sense to me. That's why I got it. Recommend it.

I seen to many items being returned from televisions, Microwaves and Printers. I have been a long time patron of your store not just in New York but in the United States.

Now that most electrical products are recycled rather than repaired it's good to have protection for 4 yrs and this replacement coverage is the best way to go.

Purchased replacement policies on both a DSL modem and a wireless router. Not much $$ for the additional two years' coverage - especially given the track record of DSL Modems. Turned out to be quite handy when the modem did fail, and I was able to replace it easily. They even replaced the replacement warranty, since the modem failed early in the term. Thanks, BB! Having said that, this product may not be suitable for all purchases. As with anything, do your homework on the covered product your purchasing, and determine for yourself if the additional outlay for the extended replacement warranty is worth it or not.

I had meant to write my review at time and unfortunately forgot. I believe the Sales person’s name was Eric. He was with the Geek Squad. He was extremely helpful and prevented me from messing up my computer. I really appreciate good service because I do not tolerate rude sales people. They should be in the back office if they can’t deal with the public.

Ink does last a very long time. Would also always recommend a protection plan for all electronics.

Used Geek Squad to transfer old lap top to new lap top. No problems once I got it back, it took a few days.

I generally trust myself with devices, I also don't have kids to worry about or untrustworthy roommates. If you think there's a hazard based on your environment or how you plan to setup the device, while it's not fun to shell out extra cash, it may be something you need down the road to not spend even more cash.

While I used to just buy a new printer when the old one died, the replacement cost was under $100. Now that printers are way more expensive and seem a lot more complicated, I just feel safer knowing that I'll get mine repaired or replaced if anything happens to it.

Love the Geek Squad replacement protection have had to use it they were great and processed it quickly left with a new printer the same day!

They remotely troubleshoot my concern on the laptop that I recently purchased and it's now working fine. And I was told that if ever I encounter any problem with my purchased items and it's not fixed. They will definitely replace it with a new one.
