did not have to use. My protected item died a month after warranty expired

WASTE OF MONEY: My macbook air was purchased at Best Buy with the warranty. I had to send it in for some technical issues with the screen. When I received it back the screws were falling out. I brought it to the store three times, and each time the geek squad screwed them back in. This was a temporary fix that fell apart shortly after. Over time I started loosing all the screws that kept falling out, and they said they did not carry macbook air screws and would not replace them. Meanwhile, the laptop was still under warranty and falling apart due to their mistake. If I had to guess when they put the laptop back together the first time they likely used the wrong screws.

I carry my hard drive everywhere I go and use it a lot, so I like to get the extended warranty just in case

Doesn't hurt to be prepared for the unexpected. I usually purchase the extra protection on all major purchases.

Good, but didn't really utilize their service so hard for me to comment.

This coverage does not cost that much and if you have a 10 year old running around. It is well worth it.

It prints fast but copies slow. Not happy with how slow the copies take.

The extra protection was only $5 and since I got the device on sale, I feel is was money well spent.
