Geek Squad has been super helpful, and always honest. I've never felt like they try to take advantage of me or my situations. I happily added the product replacement to my printer purchase recently because I actually trust that something will get done if I have any issues, which is different from services I have used in the past. I haven’t used the warranty just yet but if anything goes wrong with the printer i just take it back to the store and they give me a new one

I purchased a 4-year extended warranty with my HP mop M478f printer. Recently, the spring in the paper tray broke and I took the printer in for service. The rep told me that they didn't repair printers and would replace it with a new one! I got a new HP f283 for nothing. The new printer cost a little less than my new printer and they allowed me to use the credit on a new 4-year warranty for the new printer. Lesson learned: Printers have lots of moving parts and mechanical things that can bend or break with regular use. BUY the extended warranty on these things. It is likely you will use it!

My printer had a malfunction that was not operator level to fix. My warrantee with HP had just expired a month earlier. The Geek Squad tech plugged it in, found that it wasn't something that could be repaired, and when the same model was not available, provided a gift card for the replacement value. I was able to replace the printer with a slightly better one with little coming out of my pocket. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

4 year protection fo my new HP printer. Great product & value. Wouldn't go without it. Brought a new HP printer. In September 2025. Very highly recommending.

Always have peace of mind with GS service. I always get the GS Protection Package when buying expesive electronics.

I have purchased accidental protection. many times over the years and have never had any trouble getting my covered item repaired or replaced.

Love the fact that Best Buy has an option to purchase merchandise protection. Important especially when it’s for electronic investments.

I brought in my previous printer that was having problems and the Geek Squad immediately offered me a refund which I used to buy a new HP printer right away. I was able to get back to the jobs I needed to finish and print that same day. The service was friendly and efficient.

I haven't had to use it yet but it's nice knowing it's there if I need it. Great piece of mind.

I like Protection Plans especially for electronics. I joined Total Tech. The squad were easy to make appointments for service. They arrived in the window that was set up. If they were going to be late, they called and let us know their ETA. They are pleasant, they know what they are doing. They never seemed rushed and work on the problem until it is fixed. They are honest and I don't think they would say that an item needs replacing unless it does. The Geek Squad is great!

I need a new printer with airprint as my old one (also Canon MF) did not have this function. After research and reading reviews from other buyers online, I bought this one. I was very surprised and pleased with how easy the setup was. Setup was all wireless, although wired option was also available. I was able to print wireless from all of my Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, and iMac. Print quality is excellent. I can not comment on long term use. I will review this printer again in 12 months.

Glad to have a warranty. Soon, I will have to utilize it because it is not printing in color like it suppose to. It will not print blue … Don’t really know how to rate but, I am confident Best Buy will help me. In the past, they have provided great customer service! That’s why I am giving Best Buy 5 Stars :)
