The color and speed are much better than the inkjet. However, ink is crazy expensive in comparison, and the paper curls, meaning I have to babysit the printer when printing more than one page, or it jams. I have mixed feelings, but I needed something better for printing labels.

I purchased a Four Year (4) Geek Squad maintenance agreement to protect my new CANON INKJET Printer. The agreement was low cost in my opinion, and I know I will be protected from breakdowns.

Great value and return for the cost of the policy! I highly recommend always getting Geek Squad Protection!

I've been with the GeekSquad for years, and love the service and availability. I've taken puters into the store a few times, but generally use remote support. I hate to say this, but this past week remote has been half a nightmare .. I've called in three (3) times and have been on hold for a TOTAL of close to 5 hours before giving up each time. Please note that the reason for these calls has been a problem with Outlook (not a life-or-death situation), which is a great program but has its challenges. They may be short-staffed right now. ... I will try calling late at night.

Always good to have this and is not very expensive to have. I have had very seamless experience in past for products i had issues and had geek squad protection.

The printer prints photos great and the plus is the ink lasts awhile.

10/10 recommend would buy again. Tell your friends

I think this is a good price for a four year warranty on the scanner. I never had to use a geek squad warranty before so I cannot comment on service/repair. The warranty is about 20% of the cost of the scanner which is high .I added the warranty because the scanner is worth the price and saved me a lot of money not having to use an outside company to scan thousands of photos which is an ongoing project . The scanner also doubles as a paper scanner which is a plus and that means the scanner gets more use. For 25.00 a year it is worth it.

Have to send it in for any repairs. Major drawback!! Read your warranties limitation.

Always gotta get the warranty with what you buy, life happens and you gotta be prepared.

Listen do yourself the favor and buy a Best buy warranty. When my 55-in Samsung television started acting up they came right over and take a look at it when they didn't have the same model to replace it with the simply a refunded me the money and I was able to go in and put it towards a new set. It was very easy process and I definitely recommend getting it will worth the price.

Makes no sense to not buy the extended warranty. Anything goes wrong and Best Buy replaces the device. No questions asked.
