      Hi Jipped – I apologize that you were unable to use the second year of your 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan. It sounds like the product needed to be replaced before the full term of the plan was up. Under the Terms and Conditions of our plans, when a product is replaced the plan is fulfilled and if you want a new plan on the replacement product you would have to buy one.     I usually don't purchase additional warranties or protection plans but decided to this time. I am somewhat savvy with printers but you just never know. It can't hurt, right? Having someone to ask questions to suits my lifestyle better than looking for a video to watch.

    Price was fair. My repair Technician was throughout & pleasant to deal with. My issue was resolved quickly. My only complaint was with the person who I dropped my device off to. The drop off took 40 mins because he kept stopping the simple process to assist other customers. As I signed the paperwork he took to the opportunity to say," If you made an appointment you would of been a higher priority. I am doing you a favor for even assisting you" This was my first time using Geek Squad, I had no clue I was able to make an appointment until I arrived. I assumed appointments were more for training or repair on the spot scenarios. I was there to drop off & didn't think that warranted an appointment. Perhaps I am wrong. I would of rathered he asked me to make an appointment, return later. Instead of making me sit there for 40 mins & be corrected by him on a procedure I wasn't aware of. Treated me like a passive aggressive parent speaking to a child. When I arrived there was nobody in line & it was 20 mins before the next appointment slot. It seemed he was trying to catch up on a task before his next appointment arrived. My repair technician was 10/10 which is why I am not giving this 1 star. I recently have made best buy my go to for all my small business needs. This was my first time using thier amenities as a Best Buy Plus member. Not sure I made the right choice, yet. As a business owner customer service is everything.

    Great jobs. I think it was Ben who first assured me, without appt. Was guided to make appt for diagnostic and introduced to sales guySurrah. Smooth and quickly. I made purchase on new computer and transfered data same day. Great Job!

    I bought a Geek Squad extended review for my Epson ET 2800 printer as I do for all of my purchases from Best Buy. I feel I am purchasing peace of mind. Returns are very easy and for thier bulkier items they provide prompt in home services. the extended review service makes me a regular Best Buy customer.

    My experience with Geek Squad was excellent. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They explained everything clearly, handled the setup with care, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. I appreciated their patience and how quickly they got everything up and running. It’s a great service for anyone who wants reliable help with their tech. Definitely worth it.

    Peace of mind from the start

    I added this protection plan when I purchased my printer, and while I haven’t needed to use it yet, I appreciate having the coverage in place. Knowing support is available if something goes wrong brings a level of peace of mind, especially with a new device. The terms were clearly explained at purchase, and enrolling in the plan was simple. I can’t speak to the service experience yet, but based on the clarity, accessibility, and reassurance it provides, it feels like a wise investment.

    The person (forgot his name) who assisted me was very thorough and helpful for someone like me who’s not computer savvy. He made sure my newly bought laptop got all what I paid for.

    I had the Geek Squad work on my laptop to get items transferred from my old laptop. Got everything transferred, except they could not get Outlook to work on the new laptop. They told me to contact Microsoft customer service.
