Why would you not add the protection plan!!!!! I’ve had so many products replaced for free because of these protection plans!!

I haven’t needed service yet, but bought it as a safeguard for my new Epson Printer ET-3850.

I love Geek Squad. When I had problems with washer they were quick to get it repaired. I recommend getting it because you never know when you have any issues with your purchase.

The agents reviewed how to use the printer as well as helping me get it to the car.

No issues yet all my problems are in Tip Top Shape . Haven’t had to use it but I am glad it is there if I need it .

I will not purchase any electronics without this warranty. IT IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE, and you can't go and buy one when you need it.

Maybe not needed for the toaster oven I purchased in 2018, but I bought a warranty for the laptop purchased 4 yrs ago and had to use them several times. Knowledgeable, friendly, organized, etc. I never regretted purchasing protection for tech products. (My only negative comment is that they are so successful, sometimes the wait times for online help were long, meaning too successful. I will take that over poor/no help.) When it's time to purchase new tech, I will include the Geek Squad Protection.

When Best Buy posts replacement plans and such for me to review, they unfortunately do not link what the product was for. So instead, I'm going to give you my thoughts on when these plans are great and when they're pointless. High dollar items have expensive replacement plans. And frankly, high dollar items just don't break any more. If they do, they break in the first year, when it's under warranty. So save your money. It's for items with high likelihood of breakage where these plans are great. For example, all gaming headsets suck, and they all break. So I get the replacement plan on every single one I get for my kid. WELL worth the money. Same goes for small appliances, like convection ovens. I have gotten my money back on those multiple times over.

I purchased a Four Year (4) Geek Squad maintenance agreement to protect my new CANON INKJET Printer. The agreement was low cost in my opinion, and I know I will be protected from breakdowns.

I have not used this service yet, but I have in the past with other electronics and the service is quick and precise.

I have had more bad luck with printers over the past couple of years. Lightning strike fried every printer in our house. Brought the printers in to Best Buy and they replaced all of them with no charge because of the warranty. (I repurchased a new warranty on each). Then the replacement models (3) all broke before their two year warranty was up. Again, Best Buy's extended warranty saved me a significant amount of money. No hassles or problems, I brought the printer in, told them what was wrong, they verified the warranty and sent me to pick out another printer.

Hopefully I don’t need to use it but it’s definitely convenient to use!!

Listen. Things are not manufactured to last anymore, so Geek Swaud product replacement is a must.
