I purchased a 55" LG tv two years ago and the screen had a very small scratch after moving. The scratch turned out to be a small crack and spread. 6 months after I bought it I was throwing it out. That was my only purchase I made without a protection plan and I will always buy it from now on. Having the Geek Squad protection makes me feel calm and reassured that if any unpredictable issue were to damage my electronics they will be fixed or replaced and not destroyed like my tv. In my opinion everyone should opt for it. Spending a few extra bucks is significantly better than spending another couple hundred bucks to replace an item.

I have never used insurance for electronics, I hope it is worth what I pay for it.

Good insurance that my new printer will last longer than the previous one or be replaced if not.

It's always good to have a backup plan in case something fails. Better than shelling out for a new device or for repairs.

Always buy the protection plan for printers. I work in IT and no matter how good the printer is there will come a time when something just isn't working correctly. The protection for this item is very inexpensive.

Have to send it in for any repairs. Major drawback!! Read your warranties limitation.

So far, so good works every time connecting to my phone, which i do most of my printing off of (iPhone and samsung). Occasionally my nitro gamer laptop purchased from bestbuy ... i have printed pictures on photos film paper and also tons on documents for business purposes, i recommend this printer...

When Best Buy posts replacement plans and such for me to review, they unfortunately do not link what the product was for. So instead, I'm going to give you my thoughts on when these plans are great and when they're pointless. High dollar items have expensive replacement plans. And frankly, high dollar items just don't break any more. If they do, they break in the first year, when it's under warranty. So save your money. It's for items with high likelihood of breakage where these plans are great. For example, all gaming headsets suck, and they all break. So I get the replacement plan on every single one I get for my kid. WELL worth the money. Same goes for small appliances, like convection ovens. I have gotten my money back on those multiple times over.

love this printer so much its my second one! the larger tanks are a game changer and no brainer for me! they last so long

Maybe not needed for the toaster oven I purchased in 2018, but I bought a warranty for the laptop purchased 4 yrs ago and had to use them several times. Knowledgeable, friendly, organized, etc. I never regretted purchasing protection for tech products. (My only negative comment is that they are so successful, sometimes the wait times for online help were long, meaning too successful. I will take that over poor/no help.) When it's time to purchase new tech, I will include the Geek Squad Protection.

i have some thoughts both good and bad on this. was told they would do any repairs when wife went to store it was nope we just replace anything broken. however i go and they send it in to put back to original as this plan was on a laptop! it is in return from this now. they were telling my wife we needed to purchase the yrly plan for what she needed done which was another 149 dollars but when we bought laptop was told this plan covered any repairs!

I have not used this warranty as of yet, so i cannot write a review of it.

At first hesitant buy this for my printer printer breaks down six months in after buying it I walked in the store so in the printer repaired they told me it was replaceable then they swapped it out. Excellent, No headaches no arguing back-and-forth with the tech guys I was out of the store and done within 5 to 10 minutes replacement plan Highly recommended

When our much appreciated HP home printer suffered an unexpected mechanical issue recently we were fortunate to take it back and replace it with an updated version, no questions asked, because we had purchased the 4 year warranty. We thanked our lucky stars that we had made this decision. The relatively small additional cost was more than covered by the value of the new, updated version.

Glad I have it, and will have no worries. I always purchased this.
