This works out ok, but if you have to use the warranty, they make you rebuy a new warranty if best buy swaps out your product!

Any device that you are using daily and you are spending over $300 on, get the protection plan. It is worth it and there was no hassle when needing to utilize it.

Always try to buy warranty with my products and when I ever have to use it I have never had any problems using it.

although i tend to not buy any extended or additional warranty, i did in this case as this secondary printer would not be supported by my company's it department. As i would like the printer quickly fixed/replaced in the event it broke down, i added the product replacement plan.

Who would not buy this protection plan for a printer. Printers seem to go out all the time and why would you not pay $9.99 for a two year replacement plan.

For $20, it's a steal because being able to return the product for full price across two years is great, especially if you're clumsy and break things easily.

Bought in-case it is needed because you can never have enough protection for your appliance.
