Always a good idea to insure or prolong the life of your electronics. Best buy has always been great about honoring their insurance policies.

Printer stopped working. Was able to bring it in to store and had it swapped out within 20 minutes. Other than same model being out of stock I'm extremely pleased with the whole process

It's a must to have a replacement plan! Should anything go wrong, it will be replaced with a new one or one of your equal value.

With the way products can be wonky from the factory these days to the way consumers can be clumsy with their purchases, these store purchased warranties are absolutely worth every penny.

My son insists upon Geek Squad Protection on every eligible purchase and I'm glad. They have repaired or replaced a good number of items with minimal effort on our part.

USELESS. WASTE OF MONEY. I spent my 2 days off talking to and getting transferred to multiple agents and still had to repeat myself over and over and over again. One of them even gave me a bogus Case Number, probably just so he could hang up the phone. The other agents just didn't know how to help me with my printer issues. If you live on Maui, Hawaii, USA - do NOT buy from Best Buy and this Geek Squad 4-year Product Replacement scam. Since there is no Best Buy store on Maui, they expect you to take a flight to Oahu with your printer to take it to their store branch so you can get it fixed?!? Like seriously?! Do you know how stupid that sounds? So now this agent from Guatemala sent me "return label" so I could just get a refund instead. But guess what?!? Best Buy had the audacity to return back the heavy printer back to me in the mail with a refusal note of everything. Wow!! What kind of customer service was that?? Who trained you people?? No more BEST BUY shopping for me EVER!!

Things aren't made to last like they were before. You will never regret getting the protection plan, even if you never use it. Peace of mind!

Purchased this to protect my external harddrive that I am using for gaming on my PS4. It was inexpensive and because I use the harddrive a lot, it made too much sense to protect it.
