I really haven't had to use this yet but just knowing that it's available in case puts my mind at ease. I bought it because every once in a while, I can buy something and have a problem so I just wanted to be ready in case no matter if I never need it. Best place to buy anything they will take care of you

I always recommend the protection plan. Though most items BB sells are of good quality, it doesn't mean that something weird won't happen or, if its a handheld item, someone won't accidentally drop the good quality item. If you don't want to buy another one in 2 years, its worth getting the plan now.

No matter what I buy at Best Buy I always purchase the Protection Plan. It has paid off. Some items I may never have to utilize the Plan but I have had several TV's, a refrigerator, Tech Items, an Apple Computer and an HP Computer that I have used the plan for and it was well worth the money. They replaced all items that went bad!
