I can definitely write the cost of the plan because very affordable. I can't confidently comment on the service for the ring doorbell because nothing's been wrong thus far and haven't had to use it. But like I said it's very affordable and if something were to happen I'm sure it would be worth it. I can say that I purchased a cell phone not that long ago and got the plan and it did cover my phone 100% all I had to do is send the phone in and as soon as I got confirmation of receiving it and reimbursed me and I purchased another one. I like using geek squad protection plan on any big purchase I get for my house! I have had to replace a remote for tv and the process was very easy and fast. You can make an appt online and come in to the store and not have to wait in line.

I purchased it for my icemaker, glad I did. But, I still had to use the manufacturer's warranty first when it broke down after 6 months. After receiving the new one from the factory, it lasted 4 months. I would think that an expensive ice maker would last longer. I took it back to Best Buy and used my protection plan. It was well worth it. I received a full refund for the ice maker because they couldn't replace or repair it.

Purchased an OWL security system 3 years ago and have replaced 3 of tge 8 cameras. Installation is a breeze, the app works fairly well; but tge outdoor cameras fail within the year being exposed to Florida heat and rain! Disappointing! Seeking a new system since I cannot replace the cameras again! The only clear camera view is the frontdoor since it is not exposed to the elements. Again disappointing!
