I have not been able to use the warranty but in the past the warranty always helps and ease of returns.

Wish all stores offer this. I feel a lot better about buying products. I don't know everything about because I can always call Geek Squad to help me

I want to make it clear that I bought this as a gift for someone else's apt. I didn't realize you also need extra wiring that goes under the door when you set ring camera up (assumed at ran on chargable batteries). For an apartment thats pretty inpractical, especially since you apparently also need to buy a holder for it to truly be secure on the door. Overall, I'm sure the product works great, but if you need to buy extra parts to make it work that should be strongly implied.

This extended warranty that I bought for the appliance at Best Buy is the best values, I have yet to see, I would buy it again
