I had an issue with the Ring Door Bell 4. I called Ring and they said it would be best to just exchange the device for a new one. So I contacted Geek Squad protection via the chat feature to learn what steps I should take to make the exchange. The representative was from a foreign country (which Best Buy should hire US workers). More importantly, the representative would not read what I had written. Completely ignored it. Then ask me repetitive questions what were already addressed. Then after saying Ring explained I should exchange for a new device at Best Buy, the representative told me to talk to Ring to get help. It was just an uncomfortable back and forth, and a waste of time. Really disappointed in Best Buy

I do not have a Car. They insisted I needed to bring this item in to the store for Warrantee Return. If Best Buy is going to make use of an extended Warrantee that difficult on me, I will just purchase from Amazon next time. The Best Buy store is not remotely close to my home.

Geek Squad services support the excellent way when you need

the "Chat Agent" was unable to offer me any protection or repair for the device - even though I purchased a 4 year protection plan and the device failed after 2 years. Deceptive terms and fully unsatisfied customer here.

Will see with time if protection is good. Family is encouraged to buy with product.

I have never had any issues with Geek Squad. Totally recommended.
