Required purchase. These warranties have saved me hundreds of dollars over the years. I've saved way more than I've spent by a fairly wide margin.

I purchased Starlink through Best Buy and also purchased the 4 year protection plan. After just 19 days, the router on the Starlink went out so I had to go to Best Buy to exchange it via the warranty. I was told that the warranty is consumed immediately upon any claim. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY as this is a SCAM! They charged me another $54 for warranty when they will simply send the unit in to Starlink for replacement.

Needed to extend my warranty and they provided it for a modest cost. See their terms and conditions and weigh in if the price is worth it. Consider how long it'll take for the product to become obsolete as well.

Replacment plans are worth it simple to use, and if they have the same item you use and love you get another replacment. If not you get credit back so why not use that to upgrade to a newer model.

I don't buy anything at Best Buy without paying for replacement insurance. Always good to have this protection. Everytime I used it, it works well, replacing whatever piece that needs to be replaced. I'm very happy with it.

I hope I never have to use this insurance, but I am pleased that I have it.

I think this is worthwhile assurance for the possibility of service and replacement for the WiFi router I bought it to cover.

What's not to like about a geek squad warranty 9 out of 10 times they will just hand you a new product if yours is effective every once in a great while I might have to wait to have something repaired but it usually doesn't take more than a day

A protection plan is great to have so you can always keep in mind that if anything goes wrong with your item, it’s covered. I would definitely recommend this to anyone buying an item. It is super helpful.
