It worth getting the protection plan. My previous router didn’t work all of a sudden and I had to replace it. This time I decided to go for a protection plan.

Kinda like medical insurance, you buy it hoping you don't need to use it. Luckily I haven't needed to use it .

Always worth the extra money upfront. You never know when something is going to go wrong. Best Buy makes it easy to just swap your item out or get a store credit towards a replacement.

Anytime I have purchased a protection plan for an item it has eventually paid off. You will wish you had protected your item when something random breaks it
