Now the speeds from this router where great, the only problem that was occurring was that it would disconnect from the internet randomly throughout the day, it became bothersome, easy set up overall and customer service will leave you on hold for a long time.

I cannot get it to connect to my network. I am very disappointed. I sent an email. Let's see if they respond and can help. If not, I am returning it.

Nothing special here , does work. Little to no settings to tweak . Just standard out of the box router. Was easy to set up. The bad thing here is this router is unsupported . Last firmware update was in 2019 . Let that sink in , no security updates in over 2 years . Linksys has marked this as end of life no wonder it was on sale . Range claims are bogas , low end range compared to my old router . wirless speed is average to low compared to my old AC1300 router , sorry I bought it

I would rate the device higher but the connectivity was horrible. Based on the instruction manuel it would never connect. I had to figure it out on my own.

The first time I tried to set it up, it kept saying that my WiFi pwd was incorrect - it wasn't. I just kept hitting next - without changing the password - and it finally took it on about the 5th try. It stayed connected for about 30 seconds. I was not able to get it connected again. Returning this.

Very hard to assemble don’t hall battery more them 10 minutes

DO NOT PURCHASE ROUTER - WIFI Drops Out everyday after purchasing it for about 1 month. You will have to reboot 1-2 times a day to get the wifi back up. Called Netgear Support and they want you to continue buying their support and saying that its not a hardware issue but internet issue. Don't buy this router unless you want to pay for the support for its lifespan.

I currently have a NetGear Cable Modem/Wifi Router but it is DOCSIS3.0 so, at the recommendation of my ISP, I tried upgrading to this DOCSIS3.1 modem to get the full potential of my internet speed. Hoever, when I hooked this up, I got the same speed I used to have with my DSL provider (~40MBPS download). With my DOCSIS3.1 modem, I get >400MBPS. I don't know if this is defective or if something else is wrong with the setup, but it certainly didn't offer any value to me. Also, this is only a modem. Even though there are 4 Ethernet Ports on the box, they are not for connecting your devices to because this box is NOT a router. They are only for getting additional Global IP Addresses from your ISP, something residential service does not typically support as they only provide a single internet connection. So this requires an additional Router connected to it and this is a very featureless box for 50% more cost than my DOCSIS3.0 Modem/Wifi Router which provides 10x faster speeds than this box did.

Switched from the Xfinity gateway to this out of everyone’s recommendations. Gave it some time and it is just simply worse . Same devices in the same places running at lower speeds and lagging non stop . Not worth it all . Now stuck with it too because return date has gone by.

The package arrived and everything inside had been opened. Thought we were buying a new item. Could have bought a used item for a fraction of the cost on EBay.

Purchased starlink wifi kit. When opened it was definitely a returned item and when we tried to take it back within 15 mins we were told they couldn’t do anything for us and we would have to take it to another location to get another one. Outer loop Best Buy is a terrible place to go if your wanting good quality stuff. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional!

Just purchased to help with the wifi in our home for the basement. Just installed it and got it all set up, but I still get the same numbers on a speed test (4 mb/s at best). I was getting 2 or so before I installed it, so not much of an improvement.

Terrible quality, constantly and consistently caused lag and terrible connection to the computer it is connected to. not worth the price nor the time to use this product. absolutely terrible

Have had 3 models all 3 have overheated and it was a waste of money.

I bought this production from best buy, it works fine first 4 months after that loosing Wi-Fi every 30 min or reducing the download speed to below 15 mbps.

Used as a mesh extender with another Netgear product, it actually made my connection worse. I would not recommend fir this application.

Do not purchase if you are a landlord and want to use it for renters. Google migrated one of my networks incorrectly to Google Home and now they tell me it's my responsibility to reset up my entire network and connected devices which will take hours. Their excuse from customer support today was that Google Wifi is best for home use and not for business use such as my landlord situation. They don't have a way to remove the wifi network from the incorrect Google Home which I never needed anyway. Thanks Google for wasting a day in my life.

I get it to work and then 3 days later it goes out, I’m returning.

So disappointed with Google. Multi billion dollar company and they continue to just steal customers money. A lousy 1 year warranty on this router. I've had this mesh system for 2 years to the date and then the router just bricks itself. All I'm given is to bad for your loss. Don't waste your money on Google products. They don't stand behind them.

Garbage, doesn't work at all. Power goes off about 1 second after you turn it on. Also; the ice holes at netgear want to put their app on your phone so they can resell you phone number. buy this, set it up, and expect 500 phone calls about refinancing student debt and aluminum siding. It's an insult to garbage to call netgear garbage.
