    Fast, problematic, costly, poor range

    The good: It does a great job of prioritizing traffic between game systems, streaming television and other types of traffic. It is lightning fast transferring files (*) The bad: It constantly drops connection for short periods and interrupts that great streaming. It has horrible range for a device claiming otherwise, when compared with the much lower model AC1750. Price Conclusion: For the price of this unit, I would expect a nearly flawless product experience. I would definitely not choose this router if given the option again.

    Geek Squad insurance is literally essential when it comes to tech. Not getting it would be a bad bad decision. Tech can fail you without warning, no matter how well its taken care of. Geek Squad offers 2 or 4 year plans at a totally reasonable price. Something like pennies on the dollar each month. And when that issue arises, don't fret, they got you covered.

    Excellent equipment

    Love this router. I first bought a different model from a different manufacture, but was unhappy and returned. Once I got the CAX80, I have realized how superior the equipment over the other one. It has a wider range of high speed wireless capability and do not need an extender in my 3500 sft home. Super happy!

    I’ve had these since 2020. They continuously need to be rebooted after losing connection. Today they just stopped working, the mother node won’t connect to the internet so none of them are online. The app is reading that the internet is online but all three devices are illuminating red lights.

    The modem is great. Easy to setup and due to cable company’s incompetence, had the opportunity to interact with Netgear customer support. Very knowledgeable and quick with response to get the Internet up and running. Have had for a week, and zero issues.

    I purchased NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System since I have a 3-story house. The setup was super easy - just download the app and follow the instructions. The signal is strong everywhere inside or even outside the house, and the connection is stable. Worth it!

    Perfect solution to save a couple hundred dollars

    It's saved me a couple of hundred dollars on installation, it was super easy just plug & play. I haven't used it for too long but if it works I will get an extra pair to extend my network on my whole home. The Geek squad agent was super efficient and helpful

    This is a great option for home use if you are not doing huge data transfers. The installation is easy and intuitive as well in the Netgear App. I would definitely buy again if needed!

    Setup easy with video instructions

    Setup was easier with video instructions. I live in an old building made of concrete walls. Once i setup the extender and then relocated it to my kitchen, it improved my wifi performance 100 percent.

    I have heard bad stories about WiFi extenders being a waste of money with poor/unreliable connections. But The AX1800 has surpassed those low expectations and given my gaming experience a boost comparable to that of a directly wired connection.

    Dear Sirs, On December 2nd, taking advantage of the Cyber Monday promotion, I purchased a Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e with 3 router units for USD 211.99. I received the item a few days later and since I was out of town, I only opened the package on December 8th. To my surprise, instead of receiving a package with 3 routers, I received a package with 2 routers. On the same day, the 8th, I went to the Best Buy store in West Kendall and spoke to the manager Ruan. He said that unfortunately he could not exchange the product because he did not have any open boxes like it. He advised me to call customer service and explain the situation and request an exchange. I waited until Monday since customer service is not available by phone on Sundays. On Monday, at 9:30 in the morning, I started trying to contact the company. I tried to call several times without any success. When I managed to connect, the waiting time was enormous and the call would drop after about 20 minutes. I decided to try to contact them via chat, where I was able to get in touch. After explaining the situation, I was given the following options: 1) Return the item for a refund – I was told several times that this option was not a viable option since I needed the product. 2) Go to a store and request the missing item. On the same day, the 8th, I went back to the West Kendall store and showed them the information that said I should go to the store and get the missing item, and again the manager said that this would not be possible because he could not simply give me a router, he would have to exchange it for the same item as he had explained the day before. And option 3) would be for me to look for a store with exactly the same item, that is, a Google Nest WiFi Pro with 3 routers, being open box and excellent condition, which would be exchanged for free. I went back home and looked for a store. I was able to find the exact same item as mine in the store in Doral, 20 minutes from my house. I took the car and went to the store to make the exchange as instructed and knowing your exchange policy. When I arrived at the store, I looked for the customer service and was immediately attended to by a young man and the manager, Valentina. At the store, I explained the whole situation again and at first the manager said that the product was not available. I showed her that it was listed online and she went to look for it. She found the product exactly like mine and started to exchange it. It turned out that she informed me that unfortunately I would have to pay a difference of USD 29.99 because she could not change the price to the amount I had paid. I explained that I had already paid this amount and that it was the company's customer service and Best Buy's exchange policy, but she continued to inform me that it would not be possible to exchange it. I asked to speak to the manager, who called the manager on the radio and informed me that unfortunately nothing could be done. I kept insisting on speaking to the manager and after some time he came to speak to me. Explain again everything that happened. I explained that it was the customer service's guidance and that the policy states that the exchange is free of charge because it was a mistake to send a product that was different from mine. The store manager, Mr. Carlo, told me that nothing could be done because the value would be below the cost value of the product and that he would not do it. We spent some time discussing the situation. I asked him to speak to a superior or someone who could resolve the situation. He simply said that we were going around in circles and that he would do nothing. I called the customer service number in front of the two managers and in the meantime he asked me to leave the store. I said that I would not leave and that I would wait for the call to be answered to resolve the situation. He told me to leave the store and call from outside the store. I informed him that I would not leave under any circumstances because I am a customer. The managers left and I waited for the call to go through. I told the attendant about the absurdity that was happening to me, who thought it was completely unreasonable. I told him about the manager's attitude in wanting to expel me from the store and that I wanted a solution and to make a formal complaint against the manager. After about 20 minutes of him looking for where to file the complaint, the call dropped. I tried to call back, but the call either wouldn't go through or it dropped. I'm 47 years old, I have 2 college degrees and 2 MBAs. I'm a businessman with over 100 employees. I'm well-mannered and I'm no better than anyone else. However, I've never been expelled from a store in my life. In my company, I know that the customer is the one who pays my bills and salaries and must be treated politely and, above all, respectfully. None of this happened to me at Best Buy. I was completely disrespected and there's nowhere I can appeal this absurdity. I asked for the contact information for the ombudsman's office, but to my surprise, there isn't one. There's no channel through which I can complain. This evening, I went back to your chat to try to find a solution and report the store manager's attitude and, to my surprise, the attendant informed me that I could exchange the product. She checked the availability and saw that they had the product and we followed that path of exchanging and returning mine, which had arrived incorrectly. Soon after, I received an email informing me that the purchase had been canceled due to the lack of the product, but online it says that they have the product to be sent to my home. I really don't know what's going on with your company and I don't know what I should do. One thing is for sure, I don't know if I would buy from Best Buy again for all this trouble.
