It's always great to have a geek squad replacement policy. I enjoy going to the store and getting another item right off the shelf if the original one fails.

I recommend always getting the extended warranty, it doesn't cost much and it's easier to go through Best Buy with any issues vs working with the manufacturer.

I wasn't planning on buying the Geek Squad plan. But I'm I glad I did I've used it to install my husband stereo, update a computer with little or no charges
