Always purchase an extended warranty when buying most electronics, you want have to pay full price if replacement is needed.

Glad I purchased this. I had a power outage and my new router stopped working. I made an appointment and went in. I was not happy with the wait, waited 20-30 min past my appointment time but the two guys behind the counter were working so I think it was just a busy time. I walked up to the counter and he said "go get a new one". It was that easy. That changed my mind about the extended warranty.

As always the geek squad service had been amazing. They are alway willing to help and try to fix what ever problem you have.

I'd purchased a router about 3yrs ago, I thought I may have added a plan to it, but it was 3yrs ago...I was elated to find that it was a 4yr plan that I'd purchased!! Can't beat it! I was able to replace the router and pay a little extra for an upgrade. Definitely worth the peace of mind!
