    The worse service, ever. I expected the service person to have full knowledge of my receiver. No she didn't. Her visit was for only 15 min. She also refused to help with programing the remote. She was also from a third party. I had a picture before she came, but only a black screen when she left. She walked out saying the receiver was defective.

    I buy this when I purchase a high priced item. I feel it's peace of mind for me. So far I have not needed to use it but I have it if I do.

    My typical experience with the Geek Squad is good but I would never bring a computer or laptop to them. Unless you don’t need it for about a month.

    Absolutely terrible. Purchased a Magnolia display Open Box. Had a glitch to bring it in for repair. Scrapped it and only offered refund after speaking to store manager at 2135 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Two thumbs down and Four Pinocchio’s for telling me I can purchase another with a gift card that is now $700.00 more. No!

    This is going to be the 3rt time taking my receiver back to geek squad to fix it, because the audio goes away after few minutes play a movie.

    Local Geek Squad was not sent. A third party associate, who had no knowledge of my newly purchased receiver, was send. She last 15 min. & left me with a black screen. I did get a refund.

    The truth about Geek Squad

    I took my receivee for repair they said they have to send it out. The guy said they only send out for repairs once a week. Turn around time about 4 weeks only to hear they say they can't fix it. They gave me store credit to buy another one. BIG WASTE A TIME! Before they use to just swap it out for a new one. So buyer beware on how Geek Squad really works.
