I DO NOT USUALLY PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR MY PRODUCTS, BUT THIS TIME THE PRICE WAS ACCEPTABLE FOR THE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT.

I really hope don't have to use it for my equipment because if I do means it got damage, although a safety net measure for the investment.
