This Denon receiver has magnificent sound. It is used in a room with high ceilings and comes thru a Sonos speaker. The sound is excellent.

I always buy their Geek Squad warranty. With today's electronics and software, where interfacing and backward compatibility may no longer exist, you need their professional backup. Period!

Having had the geek squad at our home for installation of our products and were quite satisfied , we decided it was a no brainer to ensure our products are working well with qualified technicians being available to maintain our products longevity.

I make it a rule to purchase geek squad protection on all expensive items I purchase at best buy and have used it several times. When used the the service was great, repairs timely and when necessary a credit was issued when repairs were unreasonable.

Sound is good very balanced but lacks bass pair with sub and it’s very good. I absolutely hate the app and it pairs VIA WIFI

Lightning took out my 2 week old receiver. Without this I would have had to spend $600 again. I didn't purchase for lightning but for the unit as they begin to have problems usually in the 3rd year. I mean lightning, what are the odds of that one?

I won't really know how this works unless I need to use it for having the Onkyo receiver repaired. I have always been satisfied with Geek Squad maintenance coverage for my PC's, etc. tho. I decided to get this coverage because of the awesome price for 4 yrs. Plus, it seems receivers are now prone to more problems with their "product overload features" that they have now! Whatever happened to good ole "plug and play"???!!!

Highly recommend when purchasing an [c from Best Buy. I can call them 24/7 for assistance with my pc software or printer issues. The techs are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
