    Bought an open box item, that will not be used until August. This way he is protected in case any thing is wrong. It was priced to good to pass up.

    It’s OK. If they can’t figure it out they’ll send you to the manufacturer. What I don’t like about the geek squad is that they say that they will install items that are protected by geek squad yet all appliances I have purchased have been dropped off by a third party delivery company. And that company sucks! Finally ask squad what they do install and the only things they are insulators on our electronics and devices that need programming. Everything else is installed by a third rate company

    I cannot recommend any more strongly that you buy the longest geeksquad plan available.they fix it or give your money back....They stand by that
