I get the Geek Squad plan on most items that I get at Best Buy if it is over $100 or something I think may break in a year. It has saved me many times.

Some items are too prone to quality defects, so this is a must have.

Geek squad protection is always worth it. Some with one of my speakers not connecting properly I was able to swap it for a new one. Excellent service

I HATE PURCHASING THESE EXPENSIVE EXTENDED WARRANTIES ONLY TO HAVE ALL YOUR PRODUCTS DIE RIGHT AFTER THE WARRANTIES EXPIRE. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW UPSET I AM WITH PURCHASING A MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO THAT WITH TAX AND WARRANTY COST ME NEARLY $3,000,00. I ONLY USED THIS MACHINE FOR MAYBE A YEAR WHEN I TURNED IT OFF AND IT SAT FOR A YEAR NIT TURNED ON AND WHEN I NEEDED IT I WENT TO CHARGE AND POWER IT ON AND IT WOULD NOT WORK NO MATTER WHAT GOOGLE TRICKS TOLD ME TO DO. I HAD TO SHELL OUT THOUSANDS MORE FOR YET ANOTHER COMPUTER, MONEY THAT I JUST DONT HAVE RIGHT NOW. I DID NOT PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON TNIS ONE. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SURFACE PRO IN MY LIFE.
