So far we haven't had to use the Geek Squad service for the particular product it was purchased for, but we have used Geek Squad in the past. From our past experience, we recommend the product replacement services...think of it as insurance. Sometimes it becomes an investment.

As of 2020 I started to buy all of my electronics and anything else from Best Buy because of their geek squad. I found it very difficult to connect other warranty services with my products. It was such an easy selection when I was checking out and I feel confident I will be supported if anything goes wrong with my products.

Best costumer service ! When you talk to the team, they’ve always the answer and explain easy ways to understand the process the product and the brand differs.

Not normally a proponent of replacement plans, as I usually feel it it's a quality product, it should last. However, the Geek Squad is one area where I've never questioned the return on that investment!

Geek Squad Product Replacement service is the best service plan without a hassle I have ever purchased. Best Buy and Geek Squad stand behind their product and service 100%. Most of the GEEK Squad Agents are really helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend to purchase this plan for your tech needs.

I love the 4-year plan. It comforts me to know that I can get a replacement if something malfunctions or wears out.

We purchased the max warranty and the price was great

In general, Geek squad does a good job replacing a product. However, with items such as a multi-camera security system, if just ONE camera fails, Best Buy requires that you bring in the ENTIRE system for replacement. I don't have to say how inconvenient it is to be forced to remove ALL cameras, which in my case, there are TWELVE, along with the dvr, only to have to reinstall new ones later. One other complaint, is that once you replace your product, Best Buy cancels your plan, as opposed to switching the plan over to the replacement, which would honor the duration of the coverage. This means that if you purchased a 4 year plan and after 6 months, your product fails, instead of honoring the remaining 3 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, you are forced to purchased a brand new plan. So, if you cover the new one, you will have now basically paid for TWO plans for ONE product. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT the additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

Purchased a wireless outdoor security camera set. The 4yr protection seems like a very worthwhile purchase as just about anything could go wrong when something is exposed to the elements all day everyday.

It is Always nice to have the extra added coverage!

They told me at the store if anything goes wrong with my purchase they would replace it. No question asked. Hopefully nothing will happen But, if it does I will get a replacement. I am covered for four years. I won’t really know if this works until I need it. But it sounded really good and the price was worth it.

The agent helped me fix my ring camera I thought it was missed up.
