Happy cat happy home.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently acquired a kitten and do not love constantly scooping/changing litter but also not keen on litter box odors. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase so far. There is virtually no litter box smell and we empty it roughly every week (cat is now ~6 months old). Adoption was quick & we followed the tips suggested (adding a scoop of old litter to the new litter box & placing the empty litter box next to the new one). We also gave some kitty treats initially so she would jump in. She does often mess with it/jumping up when it’s in a clean cycle. This doesn’t really create any issue other than excessive notifications on my phone.

Great camera held back a little by homebase 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had this about a year now and I'm ready for a review. TL:DR - it's great picked up this camera to add it to pre-existing camera setup. You will need the homebase 2 for this camera to work, which is easily the biggest con for this camera, but I already got the doorbell camera/homebase 2 bundle so this synced up very easily. Setup is dead simple. Press the sync button and follow the instructions in your app. In a few minutes you're up and running. The good stuff: I charged this camera up to 100% and installed on a rear corner of the house. This camera provides a very wide view and a crisp image whether day or night. It's great. You can even talk to people outside using the app, but it's not the greatest. Battery life does indeed last a year, or near enough. I took mine down and charged it around the 11 month mark because the app kept harassing me about the low battery. The battery life and overall performance really impressed me. We have brutal winters and equally brutal summers where I live and the camera held up the whole time. Rain, snow, and other inclement weather are no issue for the camera, it provides a clear image all the time. The bad stuff: Connection the homebase is spotty, and we have a very small home. This is more than likely a homebase issue more than anything else, as the doorbell has the same issue. Streaming from either camera works, but don't expect 60fps 2k video ... or 30, or even 20fps. It stutters and buffers like a late 90s realplayer video ... terrible. I really wish eufy would rethink their design with the homebase, allowing devices to connect directly to wifi to transfer data to and from the homebase instead of the other way round. I know it's a security feature, but I'd prefer rock solid connections and clean video streams to what this has now. Your recordings will still look great as they get saved locally to the homebase and upload at their own pace, but even downloading them takes a long time because the homebase is just soooo slow. Not really the fault of this product, but since the homebase is required yeah it's a con. Aside from that I'd say the communication feature is pretty poor. You can definitely talk to people through the camera, but due to the poor performance of the homebase there's a ton of lag. Might as well just go shout out the window it's so bad. Overall tho I really like this camera. I bought it to keep an eye on the back yard since the rest of the property is already covered. It's nice to be able to keep an eye on things remotely, and the notifications in the eufy app are fantastic. Little thumbnail image showing you a zoomed in (cropped) view of the event. Good stuff. I would definitely recommend this camera. The ridiculous 1 year battery claim is legit, performance is on par with anything else you'll find outside of high-end professional security systems. Just be aware of the limitations of real time streaming imposed by the homebase, and the necessity for the homebase, and you'll be fine.

Excellent Security System
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased a new home and I wanted to install a security camera system. I was looking for a security system that was super easy to install by myself that was Wi-fi wireless system and needed to have super sharp cameras. What was really important to me was the ability to view the security cameras on my phone when I am away from the house After extensive research, I choose the Swann SecureAlert Wi-Fi NVR Security System. It has (4) 4k HD video cameras that give a wide-angle view that covered the outside of my house. The cameras have an antenna that makes them wireless, all you need to do is plug the power into the wall. I set up the NVR recorder to my big screen TV to view all 4 cameras. The setup was really easy and the camera video showed up on my TV screen with ease. I love the flashing red & blue lights along with a loud siren. I know it will defiantly scare off the bad guys. After setting up the system I loaded the Swann App. and was able to view the 4 cameras individually. It gives me so much comfort when I am away from my house and view the Swann App. on my phone and know everything is safe. Also, it is great to be able to see my dogs and happy to see that they are ok. I would highly recommend the Swann Wi-Fi NVR camera security system for your home.

Well worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a good deal on this when it was $50 off and had a free Amazon Echo Dot to go along with the discount. Now lets go to the review of this product. Pros: - Easy to install with detailed step by step instructions. My total install time was less than 15 minutes. Keep in mind that you may or may not use all the enclosed pieces in the install. Each install will depend on the existing peephole layout. - App is easy to follow and provides notification when events occur. - You're able to set it on "home" mode or "away" mode at the click of a button. - Notifications can go to two different people at the same time. - Battery included last for a while. I've had mine installed for a few weeks already. The app will notify you when the battery is low. - Battery recharge is a snap. Remove battery, connect it via micro usb to charge and reinstall with a click. Done. - The app lets you share your videos with neighbors within your community. It is by far a good service as you can see approximately how close/far events happen relative to where you live. Cons: - None so far. - Those that have had issues, just keep in mind the factor warranty.

EXCELENT CAMERAS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 4K cameras really do the job. The video recorder is a bit noisy, bat it doesn't bother me. 2 TB of space is a winner. The set up is not difficult if you plan it well. A lot of caballing and planning. The directions that came with the camera I found a bit confusing ,but the Lorex costumer service helped me to correct my wrong doing. Once I installed the camera I set up the motion detection and it's really ease. I didn't want to keep getting a millions notifications on my phone ,since the house is in a busy area. I installed cameras completely outside, unprotected and hope they will last. So far they are working well. Live notifications on my phone is big +. Honestly the night image is pretty good, but not full color all the time though. Over all I think the quality of the system for the price Best buy is offering is a Great Deal.

Wired or battery it should record video continious
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device works well, but it frequently loses connection to the Wi-Fi due to the 2.5 GHz network. Once the internet is lost, the recording stops. The software needs an upgrade so that video recording continues even if the internet connection is lost. Additionally, it should offer the option to operate either on battery or via a wired connection, allowing users to choose their preferred method.

This is great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the other guys review and I must admit I hesitated - now I don’t know what he’s talking about. Image quality is amazing, the ptz works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. I did have to take it inside to set it up, but once that was done I installed on the wall and was up and running right away.

Great front porch camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super clear camera with nice app that hasn't crashed.I installed camera, plugged into outlet on porch and downloaded app on my phone.Followed app to create account and insert micro sd card then app found camera on my wifi and it was up and running.Total time 15mins worked first try.Multiple users can use logon in app to view camera. The alerts and other settings in app are the same for all users.Works as well as the doorbell cams plus no batteries to charge. You can also hard wire right to router if wifi is weak.
