This was a great movie that retold the story of Jackie Robinson. Great cast and acting. This is a must see if you have never seen it before.

I got this for neighbor as a Christmas gift. My neighbor is a true baseball fan and he appreciates the history of Jackie Robinson.

It was interesting to see how he overcame objections and became a great ball player that is now in our history. Enjoyed it very much, highly recommend it

I missed this film in the theatres, but I must honestly say that I really enjoyed this movie. The characters were well drawn and well acted by all involved.

Although the language can be course at times, a wonderful opportunity to watch as a family and discuss the realities of segregation in the late forties.

Enjoyed also seeing how Mrs. Rachel Robinson saw things from her perspective along with her class and grace being portrayed rather well. Also enjoyed seeing it from a reporter's perspective and what he went through as well before becoming the first black man to join the BBWAA.

This is a feel-good movie for sure. The acting is incredible, and it;s definitely worth owning

"42" is a great film. No special effects or action sequences...just a wonderful and inspiring story. You don't need to like baseball to enjoy this film.

My 8 year old granddaughter picked this movie. It was a good lesson for her on segregation. Someone of that age has no idea what is was like back then.
