    I’m a senior citizen on low income and I took a chance and bought this tv with high hopes that it would be fantastic. Yes, I like the picture, the remote is ok, but I’ve had issues and I just got the tv Weds. Oh I should mention it’s my 2nd tv, they replaced the 1st one for turning off and on repeatedly and this one is doing the same thing. When I called Geek Squad I was told by Carl that it’s my cable box!! That’s not what I was told by the other reps. I’m not sure what I’m going to do....still thinking about it.

    Picture & Sound quality is BEYOND disappointing

    I have family and friends that have older Vizio TV's (5yrs old at least) and the picture and sound quality is outstanding. So I bought a Vizio for this reason. OMG. This is the worst picture quality I've seen on a TV! I'm BEYOND disappointed! And the sound quality, it sounds like it's coming out of a can! I'm totally shocked! I've watched Youtube videos and have used the online Customer Support chat to try and fix both the picture & sound quality and it's still not what I expect. I expect a CRISP sharp picture and that's not what I'm getting. We replaced an old plasma TV which had excellent picture quality, we replaced with this Vizio so we could get a smart tv. But unless Vizio Customer Support can fix this, this TV is going back to BestBuy. Vizio Customer service is very good (based on previous experiences), so I'm hoping to get this resolved. But my opinion: I shouldn't have to go through this. I did a TV calibration using the settings the online chat gave me. And while it's improved, I still don't have a crisp sharp picture. I shouldn't have to calibrate it, my son's Vizio tv was never calibrated and its 5yrs old and looks amazing! The picture looks like you're actually there! We use Xfinity cable using coax cable from tv to cable box and have HDMI cable hooked up to TV. I just don't understand. I'm wondering if I have to get a high speed HDMI cable? Just very frustrated! And with this coronavirus situation, not easy to make returns at your local stores!

    If you want a smart tv and free channels but are not to concerned about high quality video, this is the tv. I did return mine for a better video one.

    After a month of use. The remote control does not work properly and when you try to get in the smartcast app. The TV turns off.

    Purchased as open box - excellent. Was anything but. Main menu wouldn’t load, nor wood most of the apps. Brightness in the screen caused a ticking sound. All attempts to reset failed. Firmware upgrade didn’t resolve. Return.

    BUT, you can’t add any apps. What’s the point of a smart tv if it can’t be personalized with your own paid for apps like PBS Passport.

    This is a very good TV with good picture quality. based on the money you pay the result is satisfying. I use this TV in my basement for the time we spend there. It is more than enough for my usage.
