Not always legend can be presented as Hollywood movie

Disappointing conclusion ruined this movie for me.

This was a great movie and love it on my 3d tv.....

“47 Ronin,” was an old Japanese fable about a group of rogue samurai, ends in a horrible bloodbath. It’s a fitting conclusion I believe this movie was one of the box office flops for 2013.

I am a huge fan of Japanese cinema, and this movie practically ruins any of the subtleties of those movies. While I know this is an American version, it's really a bunch of cliches and stereotypes about the cinema it is trying to emulate.

Let's make a movie that should be bathed in blood but then take all the blood and grit out the movie and you'll have this ... The special effects weren't good at all. They put a lot of non sense in this movie when the actual story could have made a great movie..I'd like to go into Hollywood and tell these people if you don't have the special effect don't use them.. The spirit guy he fought just looked really stupid... This was a watch and immediately sell back... I suggest if you want to see a good story stick to ip man or 13 assassins ... They put this terrible movie to shame !! Please rent first! You'll be a lot happier u did

Overall very poor movie, wish I could not only get my money but time back, it was not what I was expecting

The visuals on blu ray looks great but the storyline and acting is lacking. Can't expect anything more from a Keanu Reeves movie, except for Speed and John Wick.

I did have high hopes for this movie, but I was severally disappointed. Its worth watching once, but not worth owning.

I have to say the movie was not what I expected, especially after it was built up as a Blockbuster movie. Good movie though

Movie was ok...not that great. Storyline was good as well as special effects but acting was so-so. DVD was good price though.

If you can see this movie for under $5, its worth a watch, even if its just to poke fun at it.

I bought this movie b/c it was on sale, went home, saw how it was reviewed, and returned it. The end.
