    I went to see this movie in theaters and like it a lot, when I found the dvd blue ray combo at such a good price I had to buy it.

    This adaptation of 47 is good. More like fantasy but good. Not historically accurate but it does the job of entertainment.

  • Entertaining retelling of a classic Japanese tale

    Based on an actual event in 1701 but taken into a fantastical and magical Japan that never existed but is perhaps true to Japanese mythos. With ghosts, witches and dragon serpents, it's certainly not historically accurate but is entertaining and does retain the core elements of the classic story.
