this was my first purchase following many years of tube TVs. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews and settled on Insignia. A good brand and a good value for your money. I just wish it had audio out features besides the headphone jack. I was still able to connect my surround system using the headphone jack; just a little annoying is all.

Well worth the price. Easy instructions clear picture. Beats a brand name anytime.

The size and picture quality of this tv are great for the money. It was extremely easy to set up.

I bought this tv for my spare bed room, I hooked it up and realized that this tv was a lot better that my tv in my master bedroom, I then switched them around and its great, if you are looking for a great tv for a great price this is the tv for you. So far I have great HD shows, games via xbox and pc on it.

Setting the tv up to the base was a tad difficult but the rest of the installation and setup process was easy. Great for watching Netlfix via Chromecast.

This tv is still going strong almost 6 years later. Will definitely look into Insignia for my next tv.

Went to BB to get a 40" and walked out with this one, and I'm glad I did it is the best fit for my living room. been using it everyday with no problems.

The TV has been great and definitely an upgrade from my old one. Only drawback is the sound lowers during some commercials. But, I can live with that!

Great tv! Sales people informed us if all it's capabilities & how to get the "smart" out of the tv so it was adaptable to Netflix, x-box live and more!

This tv offers a clear picture with great sound. Also tv is light to carry

When I bought this TV, I thought it had 3D capability. It doesn't however I've grown to love the picture. The blue ray disks show so much detail, I'm able to see the zits on the faces of some of the actors. The sound is only so so. It does stereo well but lacks the bass to get the feel it in your chest "thump". All in all, a good TV for the average watcher but I think I'm going back to get ( and pay ) much more.

My boyfriend and I went to best buy to only look at t.v's. We ended up leaving with this one. It's the perfect size and the picture is so clear! The price was too good to pass up! We will be buying this tv for my boyfriends mother for Xmas.

It was easy to unbox and easy to set up. But the stand is a little wobbly. I was surprised about the sound quality. But the picture out of the box was lacking in what I consider is the norm for an HD tv. I played with the settings but I couldn't get a true HD quality like my other HD tvs with the same amount of pixels and refresh rate.

Purchased this TV for a classroom as I have had such great luck with another of the same brand. Love it

We use this TV as a computer monitor for construction plans. It works fine, the image and text are much more clear than others I have tried.

I bought this for my Up North cottage. After buying a 24" for my Mom's kitchen, and being very pleased with the picture and quality. Especially, since I never heard of this brand before. I not only like this better than the Samsung's I bought. I will be purchasing another 48" Insignia soon!
