You get what you pay for

I was so excited because it was a really good deal and I am not one of those people to spend a lot of money on tech (I had a tv/dvd/vhs combo tv until it died a year ago.) Anyway, I haven't ever purchased Insignia tech, but the majority of the reviews were positive so I went for it because I don't watch TV that much. It has been 59 days since I purchased it and until last night I was happy with my bargain TV. Picture and sound pretty good and enough component ports. Last night the screen went black after being on about 30 minutes. I could hear the TV but could not see anything. After turning to the internet, that seems to be a common problem with these sets. Luckily there is still a manufacturer's warranty that will cover someone repairing it in a week when they get the parts.
