Ok for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes this is the cheapest model but I was a bit let down on picture quality. My last tv was a 47" LCD Insignia (that got stolen) and the picture was noticeably better, even being 5 years old. I was expecting at least the same if not better picture on a newer model. I can not notice a difference between 720 and 1080 on this tv, although it claims to be 1080. The old set also had more inputs and outputs. Im guessing the company making Insignia today for best buy is not the same company who use to make higher quality products. They did not have this model up for display at the store. Overall it's ok. Sound is better than some more expensive models. I am glad to get a simple remote that just does what you need.

Great TV but a lack of multimedia support.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a really good tv for the price but you can't see videos from your usb stick only photos. It doesn't have no energy on the usb port. The only good thing is that it has 1 MHL port (Like an HDMI port but it provides energy to the connected device)

Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good purchase. If you are looking for an excellent picture quality this is not the purchase for you. However for the price and size of the tv it was a great buy for me. I highly recommend to use Hdmi.

Easy set up but needs more HDMI inputs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With everything using HDMI inputs it's disappointing to only have 2 on this tv. Guess the $$ savings has to make up for it.

Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the TV an hour ago and it wouldn't power on and it WAS plugged in. Called the Insignia customer service and they were not much help. Resolved the issue as a factory malfunction and we are returning it now. (Was on hold for almost 10 minutes before someone would help). NOT happy with this brand and like the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for." Switching to Samsung right away.

Insignia stinks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am going to stay away from Insignia brand from now on. My tv just passed the one year warranty mark and the backlight went out. Tv now can not even be watched and Best Buy will not lift a finger because of the expiration of the year warranty. I have another tv in my home that is seven years old (different brand) and that tv is still performing great!

Don't Waste Your Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV 1 year and 3 month ago. Today it is dead! It just died in the middle of a football game. No lighting storm, no reason of any kind can explain why it just stopped one day and is as useful as a paper weight. The best buy warranty is for one year and if 3 additional months is all you will get, I say "Lemon Alert!" Save your money and buy a better brand!

TV locks up, remote unresponsive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience with Best Buy and Insignia are very poor. The biggest problem is that the TV goes berserk whenever I try to watch any over the air sports program sourced from ESPN. I have to disconnect the TV from the aerial and power it off before it will respond to any control. The remote is also very poor and unresponsive.
