Totally recomend this 100% is like having my own movie theater right at home

Unlike a lot of other similar systems, this one has a great bass. Overall the tones are quite rich and the system is pretty loud. It integrates quite nicely with a Bravia TV

Great surround sound system. Makes my dumb tv, smart!

This is a good system for the money. the smart features are also nice. Easy to operate.

Overall, I would recommend getting a different unit than this one for the price. It sounds pretty well, but not being able to fine tune the sound (no bass or treble settings) has become annoying over time. The back right speaker was defective out of the box. It wasn't comparable to the back left speaker in sound quality. It also cracked frequently. The packing slip told me to visit Sony's website about returns. I sent in the defective speaker, paying for shipping myself, and Sony sent it back quickly but without fixing it! They claimed they needed the entire unit. I read the instructions on returns thoroughly and there was nothing mentioned about needing the entire unit. Now I'm stuck having to pay for shipping again, but this time it will be quite a bit higher since it's the entire unit. Plus, I'll be without my unit where before I was just down one speaker. Unless Sony picks up the bill for both shipping costs I will make sure to avoid Sony products in the future permanently. Disclaimer, Best Buy cannot be held at fault for Sony's poor customer service. As of now, I would encourage you to go with a different brand.

My husband bought this for our large linving room, with cathedral ceiling, beams and a lot of space. The system, per my husband, sounds great. I personally wouldn't know the difference but he does and loves it. He also said it was simple to set up.

Sony makes a great product and the sound is clear enough to set my alarm system off.

It sounds pretty good, but it keeps changing from surround sound to mono an it gets really load. Best buy only has a 15 day return policy compared to 30 days everywhere else. I didn't even have time to hook this system up for 11 days and it did it once the first night but I thought I hit the wrong key on the remote but now it does it several times a night, and the only way to fix it is to power down wait a minute and turn the power back on. This is very annoying.

The sound quality is great, even the tv sound! We are glad we made this purchase.

Picked this unit up as a replacement in our fifth wheel camper and have been blown away by the sound quality! Everything was easy to set up and use, sound quality is second to none, and the non-powered subwoofer performs better than expected.

I use this out in my garage man cave. It works well I use pandora from my phone and connect via Bluetooth. Loud enough for parties an what not. Have not even used for blue rays yet

This is the 1st home theater system I purchased. And I am very happy with the sound effect. The clarity of the sound is good. Best part of this is subwoofer.

I have had a sony before and the family liked it!! So I turned around and got another one seeing how are youngest dumped water in the old one!! So we stepped up the model and thought this is the one!! Its sounds ok its not loud for tv at all I still can't hear my tv but movies it definitely loud enough!!! Next time I will buy just the receiver!!
