Solid unit. It is imperative you use rhe speakers that come with the unit. And be very, very careful if you splice any of the speaker wires.

This system is easy to set up and sounds good for the price.

I'm glad the Samsung system I initially purchased was defective because it opened up the door for me to find the Sony Home Theater System. By far one of the best things to happen to me this year.

It's an ok system. The treble constantly overcomes the bass, creating an ear-irritating experience that's hard to listen to. The sound is very compressed and tinny compared to the Boston Acoustics Soundbar that I've owned for the past five years. The soundbar sounds better than this system, even without the subwoofer, which stopped working three years after I bought the soundbar. Since I have a second base unit that is the exact same as the new one, just three years older, I know what the inside looks like. I doubt this system is capable of putting out 1kW, as the heat output would be too much for the built in fan to keep up with. On the bright side, listening to music via bluetooth on this thing is probably one of the best experiences I've ever had compared to other audio equipment. This is because I can control the equalizer on my phone. It's great for listening to music and streaming youtube videos, but not the best for watching disc-based movies.

Did a lot of research and decided to go with sony, and don't regret it, it has a great sound, and set up was easy.

I bought it at a good price for what it can do. I can connect to wi-fi and my blue tooth and listening to my music on my phone. The sound is great and the pictures are clear. You could not ask for a better system for the price, yes i am happy with my purchace.

This stereo is sleek and sexy! Perfect surround sound for the room. Just enough bass but not overpowering!

Overall I am very pleased with this Blu-Ray player/entertainment system. I was relatively low priced, but have been very please with it thus far. I wish the fm antenna was able to have an external antenna connected to it. It just has the white wire that clicks into the back. Besides that, I have been very happy with the sound and picture quality.

overall im very pleased with this product. i've always enjoyed and experienced high quality and long durability from Sony, and would therefore highly recommend Sony products to anyone. i would highly recommend this unit tho anyone living in an apartment as its perfect for not disturbing the neighbors but still dynamic enough to enjoy movies and music.

Love the home theater system. Its a little slow starting up and takes some time for the sound to come on but its an awesome system. I love using the widgets that come included with the system. Its easy to setup and I use it everyday. The remote control has too many buttons and I wish there was backlighting to help you figure out the buttons when you're watching a movie at night.

Love the Sony, compliments the new TV and the fact that it is a smart theater system makes it all the better. Great upgrade.

This is overall a good product for the price. I just wish it didn't take so long to boot up every time you want to use it.

I wanted to get sound equipment to play my CD collection. Not quite what I wanted.

I really like this product. The best buy associate really helped me chose what I was looking for and I am completely pleased with it. I was able to set it all up on my own. I love the wireless internet options and my most favorite it the blue-tooth compatibility.
