This is the 3rd one I have purchased. The other two worked out so good that I got this one to enhance the TV experience in our living room. The sound quality is fabulous and works flawlessly. Incredibly easy to set up since each connection and port are color coordinated.

I had just purchased a new 3D Sony smart TV and wanted better sound than just what newer TV's have. Since this system is also Sony, I thought I would give it a try. I'm very pleased with the sound and available functions. Easy setup is also a plus.

I purchased this as a replacement "stereo" at an aerobics studio. I needed something that could project music throughout the studio without blasting the persons closest to the speakers. The distribution of music is awesome and everybody loves it. This works great as different instructors use the different inputs i.e. Bluetooth, CD and Aux.

Product works great speakers have great sound and setup was easy. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars would like the length of speaker wire for the rear speakers to be longer.

Easy set up, friendly interface, good sound, very good price

After 6 years it was finally time to replace my old Phillips and I could not be happier with my choice. For the price you can not go wrong with this system. Pros Easy set up in less that 30 minutes (not counting the time it took to mount the speakers. Tons of internet apps. Pandora, Slacker, Netflicks to name a few. Plus you have the option to go to the Opera store and download even more No reason to buy a smart TV everything you need is on this unit. Bluetooth compatibility. This was a key feature in my decision to go with this unit. The ability to stream music from my phone and tablet through the surround sound is awesome. The Sony TV SideView app for android is awesome. No more frantically searching for the remote, all the key features can be accessed from your phone. Cons As some reviews have mentioned the speaker wire for the front speakers is a little short. If you want to run the wiring along the floor then up a wall for mounted speakers you will need to splice in additional wiring. No way (or at least I haven't figured it out) how to remove unwanted apps from the menu. There are things I know I am never going to use in the Apps list. (ie the MLB app) It would be nice to have the ability to remove these from the list view so you are not constantly scrolling past them. No Bluetooth transmission. I have read in other reviews that you can stream sound from the unit to a Bluetooth headset but I have not figured out how to do this yet. Overall this system has the sound a features you would expect from a much more expensive model. If you are looking for high end features at a great price you will not be disappointed.

This is a great system, easy to install and sounds really good. One concern, we were told by sales staff that if the BlueRay player goes bad, the whole system has to be replaced, but the cost is so low, it's still a good buy.

This Sony - 5.1-Ch. 3D / Smart Blu-ray Home Theater System - Black works very well. It is easy to use. The sound is very clear and is great, but it could be louder than it is and the remote would not program to my tv.

I was blown away by the sound from this unit. Sometimes I think there is someone talking outside or the doorbell has rung only to realize that the tv did that. This has a wifi connection,a web browser, apps,dvd enhancements, bluetooth, NFC, Sony Sync, the list goes on.....I am totally happy with this purchase.!!!!

I've been using the surround system for a few weeks already and i'm loving it, the sounds quality is fantastic. I do notice that at certain low volume level you can't hear anything when you feel like you should be hearing something, but then again is just on low volume so that's not a big deal, I love this system!

I have a relatively small apt. great sound. wifi enabled. lots of options. mostly user friendly. I haven't even really explored all the features yet, but I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Before buying this product I read most of the reviews and I have to say I don't see why some people had such issues with this system. It was very easy to put together and the sound is great.

I like Sony's system because the sound quality is good and it is really easy for a rookie to set up. I purchased one about 4 years ago..really liked it but the audio gave out on it. Am hoping this one will last longer then that.

I love this system. It has great sounds and great bass and is easy to set up. I just wish that the rear speaker wires were a bit longer to facilitate me placing the speakers in the back of the room.

Went to find a new home theater system with certain capabilities. Clicked blue-ray and wireless, since I wanted a blue-ray player but none of the ugly cords. I looked over the description/details/pictures etc to make sure that it was what I wanted. Looked great! Got it home and the speakers are not wireless which is what I figured by clicking on wireless and looking at pictures (in picture there are NO wires) BUT Still kept the system as it is a great product for the price and the sound is good too. The geek squad said the wireless was for the NFC, bluetooth, and wifi it had. I said those were other options that I didn't click so is but isn't wireless so kind of misleading but still a great system.

Sound quality is very good, easy to install. Not much volume for 1000 Watts. My previous RCA 100 watt system was almost as loud

If your look for a all in one home theater system this is a great product for the money. Easy install and setup and it has good sound.

Great buy. Nice loud sound in my movie room. You hear the clear sounds and the subwoofer is nice. Able to adjust it to how I like it or when the kids watch it.

This Sony BDVE3100 Blu-Ray Home Theater System is terrific! It's easy to set up (all of the connections from the various speakers to the control unit are color-coded), and, for an apartment dweller like me, gives a nice surround-sound home theater effect for a low price. But that's not all: It can play compact discs, radio stations, and even music from a Blue-Tooth connection over the same surround stereo speakers. I'm STILL learning new functions that it can perform: It has become my Number One music (and movie) machine!

i have wooden flooring and this should say it all! Sound travels... travels all the way to my sofa, giving me that all round rich sound experience 360. you can easily feel that deep base.... but make sure to adjust your distance level from the speakers!
