great for blue rays, not for tv

My tv says the sound is "fixed" when using external speakers.I had a very similar sony player that broke, and it was much louder than this one when listening to tv.

It just takes a little getting used to it, much different than the previous Sony system. I love that you can adjust the sound level on each speaker separately.

The system works good but we get a strange noise from the speakers if the pitch is too high but not enough to worry about. You cant rush this unit. You have to let it warm up, so to speak, before you can try to watch anything. So far we are quite pleased with it.
