Not very user-friendly.!!! Sound is mediocre at best. I think it was sold to me because it was a return and probably the last one...

This system has a mind of it's own by cutting itself on & off by itself and the sound quality is very poor !!

I would have expected more from a Sony product......it's more like a Sanyo......Was shocked to find out there was not even a USB port .

I loved the sound and the different sound options, but the player was horrible.

I replaced my old Sony 1000watt DVD HTIB with a new Sony 1000watt Blue Ray HTIB. The volume level was about 2/3 of the old unit. After racking my brains, switching connections, making adjustments to the sound levels, etc, I called Sony and spent about 4 hours on three phone calls. If my concerns were escalated to a higher level Technician, I could not tell. Finally, I gave up and returned the unit. and I'm done with Sony. HORRIBLE customer support.

Its a good system dont get me wrong but couldnt get the arc to work so i went the other route

I have this unit one star without installing due to the proprietary plugs. I took the unit back and got a sonso play bar.

I'd followed the installation instructions and the speakers (the surround sound) did not work.

I later was informed I need an receiver in order to give me the sound I wanted.

The speakers work good, but tend to switch off between the TV and DVD player

Help me I need replacement parts for this !!!!!!!!

As much hype I get from friends and family about Sony products I decided to give it a try. I had a difficult time with the product setup, the wireless speaker setup was either defective or simply too difficult for the average consumer. The display was dated for something just purchased. I tried Sony but sadly had to return this item and go back to my original preference of Samsung.

F.M station doesn't come in clear, Not very good choice apps.

Could have a little more sound for the price its ok.

Takes forever to turn on. Sometimes lose sound and have to turn TV off and on. The worst is sound through TV is low quality. Sound through playing CDs and DVD movies better. Sorry we didn't purchase warranty.

is not transmitting sound from wifi like utube, netflix

I bought this for my mother as a last minute Christmas gift. It arrived right on time on Christmas Eve so we opened it up and immediately started using it for music. I loved that the speakers were super easy to install. I didn't have to fiddle with the wiring and making sure that all the little wires were in there just so. The wires have a cap like thing on them that makes it a breeze to just put them in their respective holes in the back of the device. It's not bulky and has a really nice sleek and modern look to it. I'm not partial to reading instructions but I found that myself reading up on this as the bluetooth connection was a bit tricky. It also automatically connects to tablets and phones sometimes. I'm sure that if I were to read the instructions I could keep this from happening, but I'm not that bothered by it just yet. I also wish that connecting to Netflix or streaming onto my tv from a phone or tablet would be easier. The interface on the tv has an outdated black and white look to it and it isn't the easiest to navigate through but it's not very difficult. All in all I'm very satisfied with the product and will probably get one for myself in the near future. The music sounds get though the volume doesn't go up as much as other systems we've had in the past, but it's not a deal breaker for us. I definitely recomend this product. Just make sure you read all of the directions before using it.

It is Below Average Home Theater System. I was expecting much better quality from Sony. I already have Panasonic Home Theater System which I bought 10 years ago with much less price and it still sounds better than this one.
