Great protection for our expensive tv!!! Love the piece of mind having this insurance!!

Hopefully won't need the warranty, but gives peace of mind with the purchase of a large TV.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I bought a 77" Sony OLED from them a year ago. My previous TV had been broken by a Toddler visiting my house so I asked the sales associate if their protection plan covered a cracked screen like a toddler throwing a balloon weight through the TV. He assured me that it would. Well... we moved and guess what, after taking all the precautions to make sure the TV did not suffer any damage, the screen cracked. Best buy now states they don't cover cracked screens on Sony OLEDs... I was conned into buying an expensive warranty for the sole purpose of accidental damage on a TV that is now useless. Beware, their sales associates don't know what they are talking about. Looking at it in the best light the sales associate sold us the wrong protection plan. In the worst light, he conned us into a membership with basic protection plan to get a bonus or some kind of kickback when what we wanted was the protection plan with accidental damage coverage.

Thanks for the fine folks at the Florence Best Buy. We have bought so many appliances and TVs and more and we always take the five year warranty. We’ve only had to use the warranty twice over 20+ years. But it’s always nice having peace of mind, if anything does happen.

The guys were were terrific, worked proficiently and with good care, cleaned up b4 they left

Some service contracts are questionable based on their trustworthiness. Best Buy/Geek Squad is a reliable choice when buying a service contract!

This is one of the best tv's I have ever bought, Samsung is by far superior to any other Tv brand in the market and purchasing from Best Buy? everything will always go right. Don't forget to use Geek Squad!

They were backed up so I had my son in law install and set TV up

We have always purchased our electronics from Best Buys, because of the Geek Squad excellent protection plans. They back everything they sell. We have been 100% pleased with their excellent service for many years. Would recommend them to anyone.

Perfect Dorm Room Size Smart Television! Purcahsed for a new college goer and its loved. Geek Squad hasnt had to be used yet but its always great to have extra protection. Purchased because its better go be safe than sorry.

I had the warranty form my 50" TV; first time I've opted for a warranty. Glad I had it. Picture went and they refunded full amount in credit at Best Buy. Purchased a 43" Samsung for bedroom and purchased another warranty. Great service and response from the 'squad.'

Haven’t had to use this, but have faith in my local Geeks who seem to care and know about these tech items. Don’t really like how the prices of these plans keep getting jacked up.

I always get the Best Buy warranties, they are great, never had a bad experience when i had to use my warranty. Worth getting.

I always a good idea to get this protection. Just take the product backband they replace it with no questions asked.

Short answer....GET IT!!! Long answer...GET IT!!! Had a Fire Cube that failed, got a replacement, and the replacement was the next generation cube as they had changed since our original purchase. Taking a 70" 4K Samsung back this weekend that failed during the protection plan period....will probably get an upgraded unit as this model isn't made any longer. For high end stuff (TVs, Alexia, Google, etc) get the 2 year plan, it is worth the extra $$
