I purchased the 2-year Standard Geek Squad Protection for the Pioneer - 50" Class LED 4K UHD Smart Xumo TV that I bought as a gift for my son's birthday.

The price was right. I have used the Geek Squad in the past and was pleased.

Was a decent price over Black Friday sale when I bought a new TV. Hoping I don't have to make use of it but feel better knowing that I have extended support.

I bought a 5-year warranty at a very good price; I hope I won't have to use it.

Absolutely get an extended warranty. If you don’t have an issue great, but you loose if you don’t have a warranty and your basic warranty is up, you’re out. You will get credit back and don’t have to deal with OEM, shipping, etc. Just do the warranty and get no hassle Best Buy return the same day, unless it’s a TV then you have to go thru their service center but still bought another warranty with the next TV.
