Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

I have purchased my last four televisions from Best Buy because of the geek squad protection. The very first time I had an issue they replaced my TV. No questions asked.

Hopefully I never need it but to know you have a 5 year warranty is a good thing.

I always buy the extended warranty here at Best Buy. Things today have so many options and things they can do, you need to be covered when something goes wrong. I highly recommend!

Great TV. Purchased 2 year Protection Plan. Lightning strike damaged TV 2 months before expiration of Protection Plan. TV will be replaced under the Plan. GREAT DEAL!

Did extensive research for a 75” television before purchasing and it does not disappoint! Excellent picture quality and the 75” uses a different panel than the other sizes that’s bright and has a fantastic wide viewing angle, making this perfect for a living room. Coupled with the 2 year manufacturer warranty and optional added coverage from Best Buy, it’s almost impossible to find a better deal.

I ordered TV online told my wife to pick it up at Tacoma, Wa best buy order number: BBY01-806230967350 I told her that it was an open box that was the description given prior to purchase. Our thoughts was its in the "openbox" and it'll be ok transporting in our rav4 laying down but we were wrong. While my wife was picking up the TV the employee's were laughing at her because it couldn't fit in our car. The manager noticed and offered to get the TV delivered with installation. When the TV got delivered I was present at this moment this geek squad guy said that my wall stud were more apart than usual which was weird to me. While they were unwrapping the geek squad guy told me not to take off the tape around the edge of the TV until I get it installed on the wall. The TV didn't get installed because of what he stated, he told me also that I should purchase a different mount for my TV because the one I got was too small for my stud. Few weeks came by (I was out of country for work trying to helped this pandemic issues) and I decided to measure this wall stud and this geek squad guy is probably wrong about the stud being too far apart and yes he was wrong. While taking the TV edge tape I realize there was a crack with hole on the side of the TV (see pictures). Do y'all realize now that I've played like a fool?

I always get Geek Squad protection on my electronics. It’s just provides a peace of mind. Thankfully I’ve never had to use it.

Great idea to protect your investment just incase a accident

My tv started smoking so i order another i picked my TV up the girl that brought it out was very pleasant and my aide helped her put it the Van that was very good day.

We purchased the 5 year protection plan with our new Sony Bravia 65” X85J TV about 2 weeks ago. Have not had to use it yet thankfully and hopefully we don’t have to! So I really can’t comment too much on this but it’s nice to know that if anything does happen to our new TV that Best Buy will be coming out to our home to either repair whatever it may be (as long as it’s not a cracked or broken screen) that it will be fixed for free or replaced and you can believe that for the money we paid for the TV and protection plan, we will DEFINITELY be holding Best Buy to it!! I have all of the paperwork and have read each and every word in the terms and conditions.

Feel better knowing if needed can use this extra protection for my tv.

I think it's good to always purchase extra service and warranty protection for electronics/appliances and I got this one for a steal 2 years plus additional year warranty not bad and happy to have it
