I always get Best Buy's extended warranty on anything over $250. My Samsung 75" flat screen croaked 4 years into the warranty, and as a result, more than paid for itself.

Best Buy only offers 2 years instead of 5 years on their Geek Squad Protection Plan. 2 years is better than no years. It’s a must anything you buy from Best Buy.

I always try to buy this plan on all of my purchases. Now, if my mother-in-law's TV breaks down, I can get it fixed for her.

I haven't taken advantage of the service yet but it is good to have the peace of mind.
