    Pros: TV looks great in a sunny lit room or at night with proper settings. Reflection blocking coating works well (i have a window w blinds adjacent to it). The special smart tv bluetooth remote is cool. When hooked up to wifi, get the samsung app on your phone. You can easily throw youtube stuff you find onto the screen or play movies and pix from your phone. netflix, amazon prime etc stream great. 3d looks good to me, though 3d on a 46 in screen isn't ideal, its still cool. Tv is nice and flat and mounted flat on my wall. USB is a simple way to have movies and pix right there internet runs smooth having this tv turn your cable box on and off w the infrared beamer is really cool. it can also change channels but is laggy vs the real controller. voice control is neat but doubt ill use it. Cons: having some of the connections stick straight you the back vs being sideways affects how close you can get it to the wall. not many options for old connections like vga or rgb without finding adaptors

    worst service by Geek Squad on OPEN BOX OLED TV

    I waited for holiday deals and bought an open box-Excellent Oled tv from Bestbuy.com. also bought geek squad protection for five years. within the first month, I realized that the tv screen had some defects. so I scheduled a Geek squad appointment to get it fixed. customer care representative told me that this will be replaced by the company as it is still under manufacturer warranty. on the day of the appointment, instead of coming home to Diagnose the tv Geek squad technician, he called me and asked for the picture of the tv and mentioned it was gonna factory be replaced by Sony. He asked me to pilled the screen from the corner(he thought there was a screen protector screen on the Tv) even after denying him multiple times, he asked me to pilled the screen while I was on the phone. and that made the tv screen break from the corner. and as soon as this happened, they just switched their opinion and asked me to go to the store and get the store credit and return the tv. I spend enough time finding a deal. drove 1 hour to pick tv from the store, and just with this incident, they asked me to go store again and return the tv and get store credit. unfortunately, no one was able to solve this problem on the phone as this was an open box, and neither best buy or geek squad system allowed them to make any arrangements. I felt like I bought a worry under geek squad protection. All I wanted was to get my problem fixed. my tv got fixed or replaced. but not a single gesture of customer service was provided by anyone. Finally, after multiple visits to the store and hours and hours of calls, I returned TV. I would never buy any product from BestBuy after this horrible experience. Returning money is not always a solution Bestbuy. Bestbuy should consider the situation and the inconvenience caused by the wrong instruction of the geek squad technician.

    Tvs are made to break eventually, whether its the leds, motherboards, wear and tear, etc....devices aren't made to last anymore and they become obsolete eventually. Such is the way now.....I think its always best to get the protection plan.

    I got the Geek Squad coverage on a brand new LG C4 oled. It's my 1st oled which is an incredible tv. But wanted the peace of mind with coverage on this TV just in case

    I love the quality of pictures version and sounds I love everything just small recommendations if Samsung can reduce the weight of TV it looks tin but too heavy

    I called the Geek Squad about a 5yr warrenty I purched when buying a new TV. Although I got transfered to several different people everyone was helpful and curtious leading to me getting the issue resolved. I recieved approvial for a new TV no cost to me. The BB team really went the EXTRA mile.

    I only gave it five stars because I didn't want to give it a bad mark. We can't know how well Geek Squad is until we have a problem. So what else is there to say? Why would you ask about your Geek Squad service on a product we just bought? Expecting us to have to use it? Rating the Geek Squad at this point doesn't mean a thing.

    Had to use my extended warranty. Best Buy was very helpful and took care of the problem. They credited the full cost of my old tv to my new tv, Would recommend the extended warranty. It saved me a lot of money. Happy customer.

    I've never made a large purchase at Best Buy w/o the Best Buy Standard Geek Squad Protection service. A Best Buy Geek Squad Agent recently determined my Sony XBR-70X-850B had a bad panel / display after two years. I was provided a phone number to call for a replacement. Although I wasn't given "full credit" or what I paid for the TV two years ago, it was close to what I paid two year ago. I asked about upgrading to the Sony XBR-75X940D, and to my surprise, I was able to apply the "credit" towards a brand / model that was a "step-up" from what I had. Within 10 days, I had my new TV (Sony XBR-75X940D) delivered by two Best Buy Geek Squad agents and set up in my home. I won't ever go without the 5-year Standard Geek Squad Protection plan.

    ALL modern electronics should be under and Extended Service Plan. From TVs to Computers, and Smart Phones, it seems, these days, that electronic devices can fail at a moment's notice. I've always believed in protecting my purchases with Extended Service Plans, and Geek Squad's Service Plans are no exception; I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a Geek Squad protection plan for all sensitive electronics.
