    Used mine on a floor Model tv Turns out it had an issue that rebooted it every 30 min. Was totally worth it

    Never had to use geek squard last tv because of covid nobody could repair,recieved a credit for tv

    Just purchased a new Sony 75'' tv and the 2 yr extended Geek Squad warranty. Brought it home myself. They wanted 200.00 buck's to deliver and set it up. I got a friend to help with unboxing and set up. " It takes two people to unbox and set up this big tv. " Out of the box the new Sony TV has a bad Pixel. Red dot with a line all the way across the screen. First, I was asked to bring it back in for exchange myself? Of course I said no, I purchased the "Geek Squad Warranty ". They told me if I had any issues they'd come to my house and fix it.! Long story short. Even though I purchased the " Geek Squad Warranty " where they said they would come out and fix my tv at my house for no charge,... they said because it's still covered by the manufactures warranty they would have to send it back to the manufacturer for repairs! Could take weeks. They will exchange it and deliver me a new tv at no charge and set it inside my house and pick up the old new tv but that's it. I will be responsible for unboxing and setting up the new tv again myself and disposing of the big box and all of the packaging. Also, today is the 4th of July 2024, my appointment for receiving my replacement TV is 7/17/24, 13 day's from now and the the so called NARROW appointment window on the 17th is 7 am to 7 pm.!! Really?? Lol. I need to be available for 12 hours? Is the best we can do? I'm glad I have the warranty or I'd have to box this thing back up and return it myself but I'm disappointed that I got a defective tv, that's on Sony. I paid big buck's for what I expected to be a top Quality product! I'm also disappointed that Best Buy won't just come out and fix this TV, that's why I paid for the warranty! So I wouldn't have to go through all of this hassle with returns, exchanges etc.

    So glad I had purchasd the plan with our newn55" Hicense tv. Covered the black out screen that happened in the middle of a movie for no reason. Delivery drivers and support both said they are seeing this more and more. Sonin my opinion the cost for Geek Squad protection was well worth it! Did purchase a 5 year plan for new 65".

    I think it's a very good option I'll buy the guarantee since it covers any damage and you're calm and you won't lose your investment I recommend them

    55” TV I purchased was 13 months old when the picture went out but there was sound, called Geek Squad and diagnosed over phone, parts shipped to my apartment and service man was here within a week. TV couldn’t be fixed and a replacement TV was ordered, all this during the Covid-19 virus. No replacement available so received a gift card for a new replacement ... Because of COVID-19 it took just over 5 weeks to get the replacement but understandable

    I’ve used Geeksquad on several devices for installation of simple things like a screen protector for my wife’s. I watch to them coming out to the house to fix a TV that was almost at a time practically brand new TV. The man said it lasted another eight years very good, highly recommend

    Peace of Mind costs. My current TV had a power surge that fried the TV. My warranty had expired ( 6 year old TV). Having the warranty gives me peace of mind that within the next 3 years I have coverage for any replacement issues.

    Ordered TV online and was ready to pick up not long after. Wish it could have been delivered but my area is out of range. Great and fast service. Greensboro. Helped load TV.

    Misleading Two-Year Warranty

    I purchased the 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan thinking it would provide immediate coverage if something went wrong with my new TV. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. What they don’t tell you upfront is that if your product is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Geek Squad won’t help you, they’ll just refer you back to the manufacturer. That means you’re really only getting about one year of coverage, not two, because Geek Squad won’t step in until the manufacturer’s warranty expires. To make things even more frustrating, if your TV is wall-mounted, Best Buy won’t unmount it for you unless you pay an additional $150 or hire someone else to do it before they’ll even assist you. So, even though you pay extra for “full protection,” it doesn’t actually feel like full protection at all. This experience feels misleading and like false advertising. When you buy a 2-year protection plan, you expect help anytime during those two years, not to be bounced between companies or charged extra just to start the replacement process. Customers deserve better transparency about what this plan actually covers and when it applies.

    I purchased this for my previous Toshiba tv which stopped working the third year. I called them, they were very nice and told me that model TV wasn’t able to be repaired and immediately issued me a store credit for full refund of purchase price to replace the tv. It was so easy, no problem. So of course I purchased the five year warranty on this replacement tv. Well worth it. Geek squad was very helpful.

    Great extended warranty!

    I needed service on another TCL TV with dead pixels after the manufacturer warranty ran out. Service guy assessed the issue as unrepairable. So, the extended warranty kicked and a new a TV was ordered. Delivered yesterday and I completed the set up. All is well again.
