I purchased this for my big screen Vizio tv. The sound would go out but picture remained. I called geek squad, whk sent out z 3rd party repair in a couple days and he replaced the bad motherboard a week later.

Haven't taken a warranty out in several years. Awesome to have just in case something goes wrong with new items.

Great protection plan for the price! I would recommend!

I just love the idea of a 5 year Geek Squad Protection plan. It covers everything including lightening. We live in Florida so that could be important. I do hope I never need to use this reasonably priced product!

I got the 5 year standard greek squad protection plan for my 55 inc 4k smart tv for $120 which I feel was a good deal because I had another tv without the plan and the main frame on it went bad and I tried to put it in the shop and they wanted $300 to fix it. Where now paying $120 for the plan and they will fix anything so I think that's a no brainer.

I had a previous 5 year warranty on my old TV. The picture went bad 1 month before the warranty expired. I was handled professionally all the way. New TV, installation and programming of my universal remote, everything for free. Great warranty.

Good for if I need it, but a bit disappointing from their other coverage plans. Most of their other protection plans include accidental damage so if you bump into it or your pets run wild or something happens to it, they'll replace the item. But unsurprisingly as items get more expensive, they drop that option in their protection plans such as this one. I just hope if anything happens to the actual product itself that is a result of regular use, it's actually covered in this plan.

Probably the best protection plan out here. Every chance I get I try to get one. Best plan I seen so far , I think if you are buying anything at Best Buy you have to get the plan

Geek Squad and Total Tech with Best Buy are a must have. I have had Geek Squad provide the following services: desktop/laptop setup, laptap "wiping", laptop key board replacement, Virus cleanup, and troubleshooting. You should not pass on the support packages.

The warranty is well worth it they honored my last extended warranty as promised. You never know when you will need it.
