    My brand new LG TV (December) went out and Best Buy passed me along to LG because it was still under warranty. Best Buy would have had this already fixed, but now my TV is out, has been for over a week and the terrible repair people that LG passed me off on are saying that MAYBE sometime next week it will be fixed. TERRIBLE! Why did I pay Best Buy extra to protect it if they are not doing anything about my dead TV? I sure hope that 2 year protection plans restarts itself once my TV is actually operational again.

    i'm really glad my new 43" 4K TV came with it. it was a reasonable price too, i decided i didn't need the 5 year one because that was too long. the two year for an extra $20 was perfect! I am worried something might happen to the TV one day, so i decided to get it.

    The tv is amazing, I bought it since the introductory oleds of 2021 the A1 doe not have an HDMI 2.1 Picture is awesome and plugged into ps5 or Xbox series x it looks great! this is my second OLED and counting,! highly recommend

    bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

    I feel better having Geek Squad extended warranty protection than without it. Purchasing these warranties in the past has always paid off and worked out well. The Geek Squad techs know what they are doing.

    As seniors, we are easily confused with how any new technology works. My son talked us in to this TV and surround sound. We would have never been able to get everything up and running without the Geek Squad help. The tech was very patient and showed us how to work everything. We refuse to move it because it works so well!

    Truly a must have when you purchase a new TV! I have had to use it in the past and boy was I glad I had this. If your spending alot of money on something that can can get damaged by nature along (lightning) than you definitely should have this protection.

    I always purchase an extended warranty on products I purchase from Best Buy. In the past if the product fails I would return the damaged product back to the store without any hassle at all. They would either exchange, refund or order me something newer if the old product had been discontinued. I rated the extended warranty a 4 because Best Buy extended warranty is a little higher than Sam's extended warranty on televisions or some other electrical products.

    Transportation problems

    Ordered 4 40" tvs all at the same time for a project. Everything was going fine until I opened the last box (#4). No image, just the line/shape screen, well actually I could see some of the menu to the left. Called Best Buy, said you're over 13 days, can't help you. Called Vizo next, at first they said 1 year warranty, but the next day and a few emails it was determined it was a Best Buy problem and they can't help us. Unfortunately we had to buy a 5th TV to complete the project.
