Great for when you need them. Luckily I have not needed them recently.

I received excellent service from the Geek Squad as they brought the new TV that I had purchased and installed it for me. They also asked me if I had an questions about the operation of it so that they could explain. Everything I wondered about they did explain. And if any other questions arise I know I can call them up to get the answer. They are always courteous and helpful.

I'm writing this because LG wouldn't fix my TV that was having ghosting problems , but as soon as the geek squad took a look I got a new TV

You can't beat getting protection and troubleshooting abilities with expert technicians when it comes to your electronics. I've been dealing with Best Buy for 15 years and have never been disappointed with it's services. I ALWAYS get the Geek Squad Protection Plan for peace of mind and assurance of my product. It's the only way to go. Get quality products and quality service. You'll be happy that you did.

I haven't needed to use this plan, but I'm definitely happy I bought it. I financed my whole purchase at 0% using the BestBuy card and the added peace of mind is definitely worth it. Living in the city (NY) without a car means that, in the event of an issue, it's a HUGE issue getting a TV around. This plan alleviates that concern, and I'll get it every time.

I had the 5 year protection plan on my GX 77” oled and had issues with the tv. Geek squad tried a repair which didn’t work so they replaced the tv with a new G3 77” oled. I would recommend this plan (which I got again on this tv)

Whenever you buy something from Best Buy’s and are offered a warranty get it. Best Buy’s has the best hassle free warranty service you just have to know how to describe your problem, when my sister tv was messing up she got it checked out 3 times until I told her to explain to them that the tv goes blank after hours of use. Come to find out the motherboard on the tv was the problem which got fixed right away when explained the problem properly in stead of just saying it goes black sometimes.

Seems like it was a smart move to purchase an additional warranty at a reasonable price.

Worth it! Comes in handy when you least expect it, got a new TV last time I used it. TV stopped working after I moved to a different home. Geek Sqaud guys stopped by and replaced my TV with a new upgraded Samsung.

I bought the coverage for my open box TV. I haven't had to use it, but I suppose the peace of mind is worth the price.

1st TV was faulty. Got new one shipped out and no problems with 2nd unit

I recommend always purchasing an extending warranty with any electronic/appliance you buy these days. It has paid off for me in so many ways, whereas I would be stuck with a huge repair bill or an unusable product. Best Buy has always been terrific about honoring their extended warranties, with with repair or replacement. The Geek Squad has always been easy to deal with, whether in store or home delivery and set up.

Definitely worth getting for any tv no matter where you buy it

I love the 2 year replacement option better, it's not offered on the TV's. I've gotten 2 out of 3 bad TV's from Best Buy in the last 5 years and had I not purchased this, I would have been out my money. I suggest if you are buying a TV, just pay the extra cash and get a good named brand one like Samsung or Vizio. DO NOT go with the Toshiba or Hisense TV's, they SUCK and you are throwing your money away.
