I would always recommend the protection. You never know when you will need it!

We have purchased this coverage on another TV and it really paid off for us! The TV had a defect after 3 years of use and this protection coverage replaced it. Of course the model was discontinued so they gave us another TV... for the same amount we had paid 3 years earlier! We were upgraded to a state of the art TV with all the bells and whistles! It is worth investing in this coverage!! We will always purchase it for our high end purchases!

Geek Squad Protection was well worth the money! It comes with little extras that you just don't think about. They not only installed my TV(believe me, the owner's manual left out a lot of steps), but they hauled away my old TV (there is normally a fee for this). The agents were knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain all of the features of my new TV.

Had purchased a sumsung tv from another retailer strike 1, tv had a problem so contacted their their warranty department with no resolve Strike 2, was treated very poorly Strike 3 !!! Have learned my lesson now and will only purchase my quality items from Best Buy and their warranty group…

The previous TV was under extended warranty, that really saved us. Highly recommend buying the extended warranty, lightning or electrical surge protection well worth it. We have a High dollar surge protector, it DID NOT prevent or protect or TV.

Get the warranty my 75 went out 4.5 years in they came out checked it and within 2 weeks i had a brand new one hanging on the wall thanks bestbuy and thanks Geek Squad

I purchased geek squad protection for a previously purchased TV which quit working 2 weeks before the coverage period ended. I was given a full refund with no hassle at all. I recommend paying for the extra protection for any large purchases.

As this was a gift to my mother I purchased the warranty so I could have someone go to her if the item needed repair. This makes everyone’s life easier

Glad i got this with a tv purchase, bought a dishwasher a few months later and got free install and haul away of old dishwasher They did send a contractod to install it, they put a screw through my counter top

Best Buy has top-notch sales and service. I have not had a problem since I’ve been purchasing everything from TVs to refrigerators to microwave oven. I totally recommend Best Buy

Friendly staff, they solve problems with products rather quickly and have them either fixed or replaced in a timely manner.

The only problem with this is it doesn’t take over until my TCL warranty goes away. So I paid for 5 years but will only get 4? Kinda crappy especially since TCL is hell to deal with and now I’m stuck with a defective TV until the warranty I paid for takes over.

Fantastic service with good suggestions. They give suggestions based on what is good for us.

I am happy the geek squad protection plan was purchased. This purchase will give me peace of mind in case something happens to the television. Even though the television is new sometimes things happen unexpectedly without warning. So having this will eliminate any uneasiness of this purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Good value, reasonable cost, but could be made better with a "no use" small rebate. If you do not use the insurance at all. They rebate 25% of the cost in gift card value? This would add value and make the insurance even more attractive.

Excellent TV! Roku really knows how to make TVs. The picture and sound quality are awesome.
