I had to use the plan on a defective TV. I brought the old TV in and left with a brand new one. The whole thing to half hour, probably because I couldn't decide which tv to get.

Simple advice from a geek squad representative helped me complete the set up on my own.

It seems unnecessary at the time, but it's better to have when you need it than be stuck with a 700$ tv that breaks down! We hesitated over purchasing this, but in the end we have peace of mind knowing that if anything happens to our tv over the next five years, the geek squad can help repair it!

Bought a new tv, and decided to get the geek squad protection. I have not had to use it yet, but it gives you a piece of mind knowing you have extra warranty. Best Buy has excellent geek quad techs, so worth the money.

Excellent picture. Sound not that good. Documentation consists of too many pieces. Why not combine all into one booklet? Mounting feet seem too flimsy. Tipping danger. Feet should be beefed up. Be careful to note overall footprint width. It probably will not fit on your existing stand. I had to purchase a new piece of glass to accommodate extra width. Did not notice this because unit was wall mounted in store. My bad.
